Re: Argentinian Exho: Retired Nalbandian def. Heyday Nadal 6-4 7-6 (6)

Blind haters logic:
If Nadal won - he's a bad sport, couldn't he let a retiring legend winning in front his people
He lost - HAHAHA! Roasted by a has-been, weak No1 bla bla...

Anyway, the talk...

Re: Are Nadal and Djokovic creating "twitter" tennis?

Well, servebot or ballbasher style results in quicker points, so obviously those styles would be more equivalent to twitter than tennis that Nadal and Djokovic employ.

Re: DC Final: Stepanek [Hero once more] def Lajovic 6-3 6-1 6-1 (Czech's def Serbia 3

You're too generous:D

Disgusting crowd, how they got away with no point penalty for all that shouting and whistling on Radek's serve is a mistery.

Re: Best year of tennis ever?

This. Incredible year, AO was probably the best slam I can remember, clay season saw emergence of a new tennis powerhouse, American HC season had many good matches and the last big run for one the...

Re: The pound-for-pound 10 best players in the world by each surface: Rank'em

Well, Nadal is 2-1 on outdoor HC against Djokovic this year, and lost only 2 matches on the surface this season, both towards the end of the season. Obviously he must be number 1.

As for indoor...

Re: Do you truly hate Nadal, beyond his playing style?

All the hate for Nadal sometimes makes me think MTF is some kind of insane asylum.

In the real world large majority loves Nadal, or at least have massive respect for him and his achievements.

Re: "Speed up the courts and general court speed Thread"

O2 court is as low-bouncing as ever... Delpo had some trouble bending to hit the ball yesterday.

Now keep foaming...

Re: Losses you can't get over

Nadal has really spoiled his fans in that aspect. He avenged three of his most devastating losses (W 07, RG 09 and AO 12) multiple times, and has never lost to Fed, Soderling or Nole in a Slam since...

Re: Halle R1: Basic def. Janowicz 7-6(5) 3-6 7-6(5)

I didn't even realised he LLed into the main draw... impressive stuff, as he couldn't have had many chances to train, let alone play on grass.

Can't say I'm too surprised, because Mirza has days...

Re: Name Nadal's most entertaining performances

Would be funny if slice was part of Davydenko's game.

Re: Name Nadal's most entertaining performances

Three utter destructions from 2008 on three different surfaces are my favorites:
Federer in RG Final
Murray in W QF
Gonzalez in Olympic Final

Re: WWW IW SF: [6] Berdych vs. [5] Nadal

Really silly stuff, Nadal was at his worst that summer:confused:

Mind you, this match-up shouldn't be such a problem to Berdych, it's all in his head, as it is against Djokovic. Rafa and Nole,...

Re: Nadal playing in South-America a mistake?

This thread - comedy gold.

I wonder where is the joy in discussing something you have no clue about.

Why is this qualified as whining? The guy is just telling it like it is.

Re: Marseille R1: Muller d. Gasquet [5] 26 64 76(5)

Gasquet manages to lose to a guy who can't hit 3 consecutive groundstrokes within the lines of the court. That's serious achievement even for a seasoned choker like him.

No top 100 player should...

Re: Favourite match at the ATP 250 level

Great match, even if the score was a bit heartbreaking for me. I think Rafa played the most aggresive match in his career here, great match-up with Kolya in form of his life. Winners and great...

Re: Nadal OUT of the Australian Open

Wow, who would've thought that so many imbecile fuckheads watch such a noble sport as tennis... people in white should've raided this place long time ago.

Rafa, get well soon.

Re: Andre Agassi vs Joachim Johansson AO 2005

AO 2005 might had the best quality of matches of all Slams in history. Apart from this match there were epic Safin-Federer SF, equally great Hewitt-Nalbandian QF, Hewitt-Nadal 4th round...

Re: DC Final : Stepanek def. Almagro 6-4 7-6(0) 3-6 6-3 (Czechs win the Davis Cup)

Similar to Croatia's victory in 2005... Berdych (Ljubicic) winning every rubber in singles and doubles before losing the last one, and then Stepanek (Ancic) coming good in the decider.

Except that...

Re: DC F: Ferrer def. Berdych 6-2 6-3 7-5 (ESP 2-CZE 2)

Amazing performance from Ferru, shame it was all in vain.

It should not be overlooked how he improved his game in 2012. He now dictates with his serve and forehand, he is now more aggresive player...
