Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

This is like seeing the Milos of 2011 again.

He just can't hit a groundstroke.

Re: Miami R3: [18] Goffin def. Janowicz, 6-4 6-3

Moment of the match was Carlos Bernardes asking JJ to think after the exchange mentioned in by OP.

"Think, and then you understand."

Naturally, Mr. Bernardes couldn't quite persuade the tall Pole,...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

Pospisil looks pretty terrible out there. These conditions hardly suit him, but still.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

From what I see, Vasek is the one that makes this quick.

Re: Miami R2: Chardy(31) def. Melzer 6:4 6:1

His game has been shit for a while, and my guess is that this won't do his confidence much good.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

After going going from 40 to 44, he finishes the set by going up 300 in both games, only to lose four straight.

How is that possible?

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

Four truly unforced errors and breaks himself to love.

Beautiful

Re: Miami R2: Dominic Thiem def. Feliciano Lopez (12) 7-6(4) 4-6 6-3

Apart from a couple outliers, Lopez has played badly this year. He should consider himself lucky that he has gotten as many wins/points that he has.

Could very well have stumbled over the finish...

Re: Miami R2 Giraldo def. Haase 6-2, 3-6, 6-0

I think Wawrinka did his best to put his loss to Haase in perspective himself.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

Serving at a gentlemans 40% by the way. "Saved" by break points with unreturned second serves.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

Wawrinka is probably the least predictable player in the game these days. Will he have yet another trainwreck in his post slam champion carreer?

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

This time 5 set points in a tiebreak was enough against a top player that is not playing like one!

Re: Miami R2: Kevin Anderson def. Sam Querrey 6-7 7-6 6-4

Didn't watch much of the match, but Anderson played a fantastic game to get the break back at 56*.

I'm sure Querrey did some choking in there as well though. After all, it is what he does.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 7

RBA was always going to crush a rusty Sock. He has the one weakness you know he will exploit as much as he can.

What does surprise me about RBA is that he doesn't seem to receive a proper beatdown...

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol. 7

RBA has hit more UEs in these five games than the rest of season combined.
