Re: RECORD for Consecutive sets won in the Open Era

Great stats, interesting reading. I like being reminded of all those 80's players and the tournaments they played back then.

Re: Nadal On Grass : Can He Win The Wimbledon Crown

Of course Nadal can win Wimbledon. It's probably still just between Fed and Nadal. Rafa looked like he was going to win last year in the final, Roger was seriously rattled. I'm not a Nadal fan...

Re: Chang's underhand serve to Lendl at '89 French Open

I'd forgotten how funny it was at the time. Sneaky, but funny!

Re: Borg believes Nadal the one to beat at French and Wimbledon

Borg could be right. Nadal looked like he was going to win Wimby last year, this could be his year after losing two finals. We'll see, because great ex-players get their predictions wrong too! ;)

Re: Of the 'top 3', who is your favourite, and who is your least favourite?

I don't have 'favourites' as such, but of the 3, I prefer Federer to Nadal and then Djokovic is third.

Re: If Roger won RG without defeating Rafa, would this taint his title run?

No, it would not taint Fed's title run. He would have won RG.

No one has a divine right to win any tournament. If Rafa loses to someone else at RG, he wasn't the best on that particular day. You...

Re: Navratilova predicts Henin and Djokovic to win FO 2008 -how good are her predicti

I've a feeling there could be a new women's champion so I've gone for Ivanovic and probably Nadal.

Re: Monte Carlo and Americans

The last American who cared about Monte Carlo was Grace Kelly! :)

They've never took much interest in the dirt courts, and that stretches back years.

Re: Roger Federer is still the best player in the world!

Still the best player in the world ? Probably still is on the big occasion , but has Rafa and Djokovic hot on his heels. Federer looks to the Slams now and accepts occasional losses in the regular...

Re: Estoril Final: Federer vs. Davydenko. WWW?

I voted Federer in 3, but Davydenko will never have a better chance against Roger.

Re: Estoril SF: Roger Federer Defeats Denis Gremelmayr 2-6 7-5 6-1

Don't know much about Gremelmayr, but Fed's dropping sets left, right and centre. Doesn't bode well for the tougher challenges in the season. Inconsistent from Federer, Davydenko might take him.

Re: Federer to play DC relegation tie in september

Good to see Federer playing the DC all the same, it gives the event more meaning when the big guns participate.

Re: question from the board: why there are so less tournaments played on grass

I know, the grass tourneys have died a death. Easier to just plonk down an artificial surface, many tournament directors and players prefer the hard courts, indoor surfaces. Weather plays a part,...

Re: Tsonga out between 2 and 9 months

Shame about Tsonga if he's out for an extended spell, just as he's played the best tennis of his career. Looked an exciting force at Queen's last year as well, so was looking forward to seeing him at...
