Re: Roger Federer: "I'm convinced I'm going to win another Slam"

If Cilic, Warinka, and Neishikori can all possibly win a slam. He has a shot. It's probably like only 20% and he has to be super lucky like Nadal but he has a shot.

Sampras won his last one when he...

Re: USO SF: Cilic def. Federer: 6-3 6-4 6-4

Dammit. He had it too when Djoker and Berdych fit eliminated. I guess only Nadal can fluke slams. I was hoping that 33 year old Fed would fluke 1 or 2 more.

Re: can we all just stop???

I think a lot more than Cilic dope. I can't get into specifics but yeah there is one in particular that drops out of slams with a fake injury when the dope testing gets too stringent. Lol

Re: The Undeniable Arrogance of Roger Federer

Every GOAT is arrogant. Gretzky, Michael Jordan, everyone. They can be though and that's what drives them.

You would be too if you won that many slams and dominated a stretch so badly and easily...

Re: Who deserves a statue at Wimbledon more? Andy Murray or Roger Federer?

They should put a Federer statue with a nike track jacket that says number 8 on the jacket with his two thumbs pointing at the number 8 on his back. Throw a nike logo on his shoes too with the number...

Re: Does Nadal's Kyrgios loss nearly end chance of being better than Federer?

Nadal would have lost many late round exits too if he played anyone besides Birdshit and Federer.

Re: If Bouchard & Raonic win Wimbledon 2014?

Not just Canadian athletes. The entire NHL is like that because if you show your personality, the Canadian media will tear you a new one and your career would be over before it begins.

Think Tiger...

Re: Should Federer retire if he wins Wimbledon?

He should have retired before Nadal made a name being a parasite off him, meaning Nadal let Federer take out all of his difficult matches and then come in for free slams.

Unfortunately, that is...

Re: What do you prefer, matches with commentary or without?

Commentary adds to the excitement of matches for sure. That goes for any sport. Audio and visual dual assault works wonders in tricking the brain into being excited for a match.

Re: A player that nobody hates

Anna kournikova? Actually, I guess Enrique fans, paved bure, and Sergei federov fan girls might hate her but otherwise no one straight in these forums should hate her. They might think she is...

Re: When will Nadal retire?

You know for a fact that he is going to retire early. I mean, he starts holding his back like he has a pinched nerve when someone is blasting him off the court. Imagine how bad it will get when he is...

Re: Congratulations to Roger Federer

It's just not that meaningful compared to his other records. I mean a lot of those wins Federer probably doesn't even care about himself.

It does however carry much, MUCH, MUCH more weight than a...

Re: If Federer were American, would U.S Dominate Tennis?

Probably. Bigger population means bigger gene pool to select from. If they really wanted to put the money into it they could. Fortunately for everyone else though, all their genetic monstrosities...

Re: Endless Federer-Nadal debates

Haha you mugs are hilarious. Just because Nadal, Djokovic, and Murray had to deal with each other it doesn't mean anything. If Federer wasn't there to own them who is to say Safin, Hewitt, and...

Re: Endless Federer-Nadal debates

Who says they are rivals? It is pretty one sided. If it was really as bad as you say then there is no way he does what he did. If you can find a way to smash all records, it doesn't matter how you...

Re: Johnny Groove's Top 69 Players Ever (Nadal up to #7 of all time)

Or Federer was better at putting the competition in their place and making them look weak than those aforementioned players.

If Ferrer is the only one that you can come up with then that doesn't mean anything. Yes please go through all the players that would be a less automatic win for Nadal than Federer would be. This...

Re: AO Final: Stanislas Wawrinka def. Rafael Nadal 63 62 36 63

Um, there are some obvious tells. Profilers and poker players use them to read people correctly every time. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see a pattern where Nadal grimaces in fake pain and...

Re: How many less titles would Nadal have if Federer never existed?

How do you figure? The head 2 head suggests that Federer has never stopped him from achieving anything really. One Wimbledon tops.
