Re: The gay male player speculatron

I would love for Paire to be gay, but I saw him interact quite a lot with his girlfriend at the Rogers Cup. She was GORgeous. Maybe he's bi. Let me be the first to volunteer to try and recruit...

Re: A What If Situation: Djokovic wins Cincinnati and thus has all Masters 1000's.

I know that singles and doubles are NOT the same thing, but would like to point out that Nestor has won all four slams, all nine 1000's, the year end, and an Olympic gold. Only player in history. ...

Re: Cincinnati [R2]: Lu def. Berdych 3-6 6-3 6-4

I watched them play live in Toronto and I thought Lu played quite well. He absorbs the power on the serve beautifully and has really good movement. He worked his ass off in Toronto and came up...

Re: Toronto R2: Djokovic def. Monfils 6-2, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (2)

I thought this was a really enjoyable match. Other than Monfils having a temper tantrum over a time violation warning (which he TOTALLY deserved), I thought he really had some chances. His...

Re: Toronto R2: Murray Def. Kyrgios 6-2, 6-2

While not a huge Murray fan, I enjoyed this match live today. He played very well and seemed to be swinging freely and staying positive. His opponent, however, I'm starting to dislike. He reminds...

Re: Toronto R2: Raonic Def. Sock 4-6, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4)

I'll always cheer for Milos because I'm Canadian and I think he makes the most of whatever talents he has, but boy, that was NOT a good match tonight. Having Ljubicic as a coach is definitely...

Re: Toronto R1 Anderson d. Kokkinakis 4-6 6-2 6-3

Watched the second two sets of this in person. Toronto Grandstand is GREAT because you're right there watching. Best and worst in the match came from Thanasi. He came up with some great shots and...

Re: Toronto R1: Tsonga def. ERV 7-6 6-1

Couldn't agree with this. ERV played just fine until the tiebreak and then just went away. The energy in the stadium went away with it. Ended up leaving at 5-0 in second set to watch Isner-Dodig.

Re: Toronto R1: Dodig def (10) Isner 6-4 6-7(4) 6-3

Watched the second half of this live. Happy to see Dodig win, as I think he's one of the hardest-working guys on the tour. Something I've always noticed and been annoyed by with respect to Isner is...

Re: Toronto R1: Cilic def. Istomin 6-2 4-6 7-5

Watched the first half of this match live. Wasn't all that interesting (though I like both players) so I left to watch Chardy vs. Delbonis and Paire vs. Falla. Glad Cilic won though.

Re: fattest asses on tour

Having spent the day at the Rogers Cup (where the Grandstand court allows you to sit about twelve feet behind the players), I thoroughly wish that there was a rule stating all players must wear white...

Re: Rogers Cup Toronto 2014 Draw Thread

Re: Roland Garros R3: Milos Raonic (8) def. Gilles Simon (29) 4-6 6-3 2-6 6-2 7-5

Being a Canadian doesn't mean that you can speak French. Anyone who believes otherwise is ignorant. At least he tried to speak in French to the crowds.

Re: Roland Garros R3: Milos Raonic (8) def. Gilles Simon (29) 4-6 6-3 2-6 6-2 7-5

I agree re: crowd. Canadian crowds were pretty iffy during the Rogers Cup last year. I don't think the crowd bothered Milos. They SHOULD be going hard for Simon.

Re: WWW ? Roland Garros R1: [8] Milos Raonic vs [WC] Nick Kyrgios

This argument has always bugged me. Obviously, Murray won their biggest match thus far, but you can hardly say that Tokyo, Barcelona, and Indian Wells don't matter. That belittles those tournaments...

Davis Cup format vs. Fed Cup format

Does anyone know why the formats differ for Davis Cup and Fed Cup? I prefer the Davis Cup format with S S D S S, over the Fed Cup format of S S S S D. The doubles rubber rarely makes a difference...

Re: IW R2: Raonic def Roger-Vasselin 7-6(4) 4-6 7-6(3)

I'll always cheer for Milos because a) he is Canadian (hopefully he doesn't pull a Rusedski) and b) he seems like a pretty humble guy. But I don't really enjoy watching him play because his return...

Re: WWW Australian Open R3: [11] Raonic vs. [22] Dimitrov

Nadal and Djokovic, obviously. Even the most misguided Murray fan must acknowledge the Raonic-Murray HTH. Anyway, this thread is supposed to be about Milos vs. Grigor. I think if both players are...

Re: New!! Best Looking out of Current Top 50

Agree totally - Paire, followed by Dimitrov. Sometimes I get a little tingly from Pospisil, but at the wrong angle, he looks like Beavis from Beavis and Butthead.

Re: USO QF: Wawrinka overwhelms defending champ A. Murray, 6-4 6-3 6-2

Happy for Stan. If someone were to judge Murray based on today's match, they wouldn't think much of him. Some Murray fans would do well to consider that no player is consistently great. While I'm...

Re: US Open R2: Raonic def. Andujar 6-1 6-2 6-4

I agree! It was Jeff Tarango. Check out a famous rant of his on YouTube. I think it was at Wimbledon.

Why I love the qualifying tourney of Grand Slams...

I know some people argue that it should be a 64-player draw for the qualies, but I personally love the current format. I love to watch these guys fight it out for the privilege of playing a slam. ...
