Re: USO R4: Gasquet def. Berdych 2-6 6-3 6-4 6-1

Your comment would make a lot of sense if their head to head wasn't 6-6 before this match.

Re: Could we witness all BIG FOUR SFs at RG 14?

How long can we say "the Big Four" without having to explain to everyone that the big four aren't really the big four anymore?

Re: WWW Montreal R16/Battle for Top 10: Richard Gasquet vs Kei Nishikori

Gasquet is 2-0 against Nishikori so they've played twice before.

Re: Best looking shots of all time

Gasquet's backhand, especially when it's on fire like in Roddick Wimby Semi.

Re: Judy Murray: "The Top 4 are really, probably, the Top 4 of all time"

Wouldn't any mother like to think her son is one of the 4 greatest of all time?
The current top 4 are not the 4 greatest of all time, not by a long shot, but it's the most competitive top 4 perhaps...

Re: Poll: Would a player like Michael Chang be blasted off the court today?

Michael Chang was a late 80's to mid 90's player so any player from this era (not just Chang) would have a hard time adapting to the current pace.
If Michael Chang is a current player now, let's say...

Re: Gasquet destroys Melzer and battles to pass Mayer to reach semi-final

What's GOAT=Fed and BroTree's problems? Threatening someone for posting a pretty normal thread that doesn't violate any rules and hoping for the thread to be deleted and warning the author of the...

Re: MC R3: Gasquet def. Cilic 7-5 6-4

How come when Gasquet beats any top or decent player it's always because his opponent self-destructed and he had nothing to do with his victory?
Before I saw his match vs Berdych at Miami everyone...

Re: MC R3: Gasquet def. Cilic 7-5 6-4

You don't see how a 9th ranked player can beat a 32nd ranked player whom he's got a 2-0 record against?
"Even on a good day Gasquet is awful tennis player"? On his best days he's beaten Federer,...

Re: WWW R3: Cilic vs Gasquet

How is Cilic on clay? We all know how gasquet on clay is.

Re: Miami QF Gasquet dismantles Berdych 6-3 6-3

From most of the comments it sounds like Berdych handed the match to Gasquet but I just saw the match and I have to say that Gasquet really performed well and outplayed Berdych! Gasquet was really...

Re: Richard Gasquet in the top 10

How Gasquet got into the top 10 is a reflection of the whole year, not just one tournament. If Gasquet was ranked 35 it wouldn't have matter how Isner and Monaco did because he was not close enough...

Re: Richard Gasquet in the top 10

That is the most stupid statement I've ever heard, do you really follow tennis dude?
You made it sound like Gasquet got in the top 10 SIMPLY by having others close to his ranking fail, like he had...

Re: Will Andy Roddick ever win Wimbledon?

This would have been a good question 5 years ago, now it's just a stupid question.

Re: Mardy Fish and John Isner fire back at Ivan Ljubicic over Twitter

I swear Mardy Fish is bitchier than the gay guys I know!
He fits right in with that bratty roster of American douch bag players over the years....Connors, McEnroe, Agassi, Roddick, Tarango, etc.

Re: Biggest underachievers since 1995?

Ok so it's questionable that Gasquet has underachieved but to say that he has overachieved is just laughable!

Re: Tennis Channel's 100 Greatest

The Olympics gold metal needs to step back quite a bit in its importance of being a determining factor in ranking the players.
First of all tennis wasn't part of the Olympics until 1988 so right...

Re: Tennis Channel's 100 Greatest

I NEVER said that Seles would have ended up with as many slams as Graf, I said that Graf was able to get more because Seles was out of the picture and you can't deny that! You just can't!

Re: Tennis Channel's 100 Greatest

Personally for me I could never place Graf at the top because Monica Seles' stabbing allowed her to rack up a lot of slams that she otherwise would not have gotten. This is forever an asterisk next...

Re: WWW Paris R3: Richard Gasquet v. Roger Federer

These Federer names are getting stupider and stupider and less imaginative.

Re: WWW Paris R3: Richard Gasquet v. Roger Federer

I would say Richie but he's still very rusty, only has 1 match under his belt after a 2 month lay off but his last match vs Fed should give him some confidence.

Re: Paris R2: Ga$quet beat Anderson 6-4, 7-6

I can't believe Anderson is the same age as Gasquet!
In some photos his face looks 48!

Re: USO R1 Gasquet crushed Stakh 6-4 6-4 6-0

I thought Gasquet's overhead backhand smash in the last set was even better and harder to hit IMO than the awesome tweener shot by Stakh.
