Re: Overall Thoughts on 2010 Indian Wells

Probably wouldn't have been great watching on TV, but for the three years I've been going, it's gotten better and better in person(even though Nadal lost). This year I got to see Nadal play five...

Re: Anyone going?

It would depend on what type of tennis you want to see. If you want to see the big names, you'll have to get a stadium ticket, but that will allow you to hit the outside courts as well. A simple...

Re: Anyone going?

What hotel/motel are you staying at? If you don't have one yet, I'd suggest calling and getting a reservation asap.

There are a bunch of cheap motels off highway 10, and it's a straight shot south...

Re: Anyone going?

If you're planning on being at the complex into the evening, then you'll definitely want a sweater. Last year I was watching the Nadal vs Nalbandian match in the stadium and it went until 1 or 2 a.m....

Re: Anyone going?

I'll be going for most of the second week of the tournament. I had an absolute blast my first time at Indian Wells, and this will be my third year running. Make sure you take a sweater, a good seat...

Re: Indian Wells Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated January 26, 2010)

Great line-up to start. We'll see who falls by the wayside leading up to the tournament. Hopefully Nalby will make it - his match with Nadal was great last year and didn't end until past 1am in the...

Re: Ryan Harrison --- Is he the future of American Tennis

His attitude during his match with Lindahl the night before was ugly. I was shocked at how many people were rooting for him when he'd throw a tantrum, but I guess that's typical of a lot of American...

Re: Ryan Harrison --- Is he the future of American Tennis

I watched him play twice in Sacramento. He was a big baby both times... reminded me of Donald Young with his tantrums. He's a good tennis player, but I didn't see anything special except that he was...

Re: Week 41: Tiburon, California, USA [Main Draw]

Re: Week 40: Sacramento, California, USA [Main Draw]

Watched Levine play Fri and today and he looked great, really sharp. Giraldo also looked good. Can't wait for the final tomorrow :) And Levine is out of the doubles since I think Sweeting got...

Re: Roger Federer is going to be a father

I hope Mirka has twins, a boy and a girl, and each of them eventually come to dominate their respective tours. I can't wait to see Baby Fed/Mini Mirka take on the future kids of the Williams sisters,...

Re: Anyone planning on going?

I can't wait! My mom and I went last year and we quickly got into a routine. We'd grab a coffee and the local paper at the Starbucks on our way to the tournament. The local paper has an insert during...

Re: Anyone planning on going?

I'll be going again this year. The practice courts are very nice and fan-friendly and you can usually catch most of the players you' want to see at one time or another.

Re: BBC/Eurosport/Sky Sports/ESPN/ Etc - Coverage, Moan Thread!

I'm so relieved that ESPN2 has switched over from the Australian Open to HIGH SCHOOL basketball - whatever would I have done if I was made to miss my &%*# HIGH SCHOOL basketball.

Re: Who has the biggest belly?

Baggy looked terrible last year, but I think he looks pretty fit now. He's always going to be a bit barrel-shaped, but I noticed a real difference.

Re: Who was the most surprising player of this season,in a good or in a bad way?

I also said Simon, mainly because the others had at least some expectation above their heads, but no one really saw Simon coming until he was well into kicking their asses.
