Re: Thiem: "I was empty mentally, the result was logical"

Great post.

I think one of the main problems with Tennis fans these days, is the comparisons and expectations of players based on what other players did in the past. This whole youngsters suck...

Re: CHG Aix en Provence F: F. Tiafoe def J Chardy 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(5)

Tiafoe did great this week. He needs to play more ATP. Such a good game, but mentally he can go astray sometimes.

I agree with CooCooCachoo that this is for sure the best challenger Tiafoe has...

Re: Will Djokovic ever get rid of Pepe?

He wasn't even in the box this year until Madrid soo. And he's been advisory to Djokovic since 2012 at least.

Re: Madrid R3: [4] Nadal def. [16] Kyrgios 6-3 6-1

Kyrgios admits the prep for Madrid wasn't ideal.

Re: Madrid R3: [4] Nadal def. [16] Kyrgios 6-3 6-1

RAFA tards being stupid again? No surprised and to be expected from the fans with the lowest IQ on MTF. I swear his fans on Twitter are much nicer and intelligent.

Re: Madrid R3: [4] Nadal def. [16] Kyrgios 6-3 6-1

Um no. I was saying that may have contributed to the mental state of Kyrgios. People deal with family issues differently. Didn't your god RAFA struggle with form when his parents split up? So yeah....

Re: Madrid R3: [4] Nadal def. [16] Kyrgios 6-3 6-1

Yet if it was another player they'd get all the sympathy. Get a grip.

Re: Madrid R3: [4] Nadal def. [16] Kyrgios 6-3 6-1

Kyrgios was injured and he is mourning the death of his grandfather. MTF can hate and hate, but Nick didn't even arrive to Madrid till late last week, not prepping well for clay due to the death of...

Re: Novak turns the page!

All this talk of Imaz... please people tell me when you last actually saw him around in Novak's box? People make a big deal out of this guy but I have watched most of Nole's matches this year and not...

Re: MTF's Worst ATP Umpire Award

I said name the last ATP event he did apart from Monte Carlo. You can't name any. Pascal Maria is an ITF umpire and it's good to see the thread starter updated the title to reflect this.

Re: WWW? MTF's Worst ATP/ITF Men's Umpire Award ~CAST YOUR VOTES~

Asderaki is an ITF umpire and does mainly slams and outside that the odd WTA tournament. However she's now doing a more desk based roll. Less time on tour.

Re: MTF's Worst ATP Umpire Award

Grand Slams are ITF sanctioned matches, mens or womens, not ATP. Please tell me apart from Monte Carlo what ATP events Maria has done recently? He's employed by the ITF, hence he is not an ATP umpire.

Re: MTF's Worst ATP Umpire Award

You basically just listed all the male gold badges, plus Asderaki?

That's it.

Re: MTF's Worst ATP Umpire Award

Pascal Maria is an ITF umpire, not an ATP Umpire.

My vote of course goes to Cedric Mourier. He's crap, he's sexist, he's racist and corrupt.

Re: The concept that changed Federer's backhand

Don't see why people find it so surprising that a guy who has won 18 slams and is one of the all time greats in Tennis, has been able to retool his game and stay at the top. Federer isn't any normal...

Re: Thoughts on Kyrgios on clay?

He's done well in Estoril before beating good clay players, so he's not that bad. I think his game now where he is introducing more defensive style into some matches will help. But we gonna see.

Re: Federer 2017 is more important for tennis in Germany than Kerber 2016

No disrespect to Kerber as she has achieved a lot, but she has a boring game and personality. Of course a guy who is one of the best of all time having a career resurgence is more important for...
