Re: IW: JMDP moves into QF, beats Isner 7-6(4) 7-6(3)

I beg to differ. He's an adequate volleyer and dispenses of easy volleys pretty well and gets a number of tough ones. He's somewhat slow, but he moves reasonably well for missive frame. Throw in his...

Re: Who out there uses extreme grips?

I actually started out with a semi-western, but i was hitting with my cousin one day and just trying to moonball her to death, and i looked down and realized my grip was farther over, and that it was...

Who out there uses extreme grips?

I was just wondering who else out there uses extreme western grips? My grip on the forehand is just about halfway between a typical western grip and a Hawaiian grip. Just wondering who shares my...

Re: How Can Federer Solve Nadal's Puzzle?

I'd just like to point out that right now a LOT more people than Federer are having trouble cracking Nadal's puzzle.

Re: Any adjustments for the final? (for Nadal)

My only wish is that he'd the serve a little closer to the baseline. I'm surprised he didn't hit the back wall.

Re: Is anyone else seeing a "New Roddick 09"?

Actually yes, he's slimmed down considerably, in fact, he's reminding me a lot of his younger 2001 self, skinny, but powerful. However, unlike his younger self, his forehand's has some variation, his...

Re: AO R3: Djokovic def. Delic 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6

Really enjoyed Delic's style of play. Its always a pleasure to watch a nice one handed backhand. I hope to see more of him in the future

Re: Which players rely extremely heavily on one component?

Volleys are quite Decent, you juust rarely see them due to the monster serve. Slice approach not bad either. Forehands decent. But, yes without the serve he would be blown away.

Re: AO R2 Nadal def. Karanusic 6-2 6-3 6-2

Because he couldn't hit it that hard anywhere near consistently.

Re: Aus Open 1st round: Roddick def. Rehnquist 6-0 6-2 6-2

After a while, Andy really hit some of his forehands. That was a pleasure to see. I love the sound when someone really whacks the ball.

Re: P.Cash: Nadal and Djokovic are threatening the future of the sport by driving awa

He has very valid points, but perhaps is a slittle extreme, but that should not diminish the importance of this. I'm a Nadal fan, but its does get vexing at times. There not be a massive amount to...

Re: Trademark shots and/or unique or interesting shots

Santoro
Slice forehand. I don't think a description is even needed. Highly unusual, two handed, and very effective. Also hits two handed volleys off both sides.

Gasquet
I'd have to say the...
