Re: Federer-Nadal poll (yes another one)

I prefer Roger's game but prefer Nadal's personality. Why bring politics into this?

Re: The myth that Djokovic is an "aggressive player"....

It seems to me that most players who are overly offensive, are more inconsistent. Besides Federer, what other mostly offensive player in the last 10 years has achieved as much as Novak has? Winning...

Re: Can Djokovic pass Federer for most weeks at No. 1?

IF Novak becomes nearly as good as Roger at the net, he would be nearly unbeatable. Only peak Nadal, Roger or Murray would have a good chance to beat Novak, every now and then.

Re: Can Djokovic pass Federer for most weeks at No. 1?

ME TOO! Possible, if not probable. For me, YE at #1 is more impressive than weeks at #1

Re: Federer:"Rafa and Andy have more the defensive DNA..."

Recently, I watched a replay of the semi of the 14 AO, and it was obvious that Roger's game sort of freezes when he plays Nadal. It seems as though that he knows he will lose to Nadal before the...

Re: Peak Murray vs peak Nadal

It is the stats, H-H on each surface, that should decide. Offhand, I think Nadal leads on every surface.

Re: Is Miami getting shafted?

Where else would you have the good weather and amount of money, at this time of the year, that you have in IW and Miami? Both tournaments have been well attended and provided lots to money to top...

Re: Does Raonic's victory over Nadal prove that Sampras would have given him trouble?

Only on clay. Nadal would not get away standing so far behind the baseline, especially when Pete was serving. Federer's mistake against Nadal was that he did not play him the way he plays everyone...

Re: Djokovic's impressive record over Nadal, Federer and Murray on slow HC

Why should all courts be the same speed, either slow or fast. Variety of surfaces forces a player to adjust to different speeds and different strategies. Even European clay surfaces are different. MC...

Re: More exciting matchup?

ONE of the best matchups ever. Due to his incredible body flexible body, Novak is able to return and chase down some of Roger's best serves and ground strokes. Agassi, though a great returner, did...

Re: Roger Federer owns a staggering 47 of 166 tennis records!

Rosewall was #2 at 37 and won slams ages 33,35,36,37. Different era, true, but no one else was winning slams past 34. Only Andres Gimeno, in that era won a slam after turning 33, which was the FO at...

Re: Roger Federer owns a staggering 47 of 166 tennis records!

Tennis did not begin in 1968. If the pro tour stats were included, which it should, Rosewall would probably own the highest amount of records. When the open era began, Rosewall was 33, Laver was 29....

Re: Indian Wells R3: Robredo def. Dimitrov 6-4 1-6 7-5
