Re: Would Limiting Racquet technology bring back more game styles like serve volley?

I didn't think it was possible to miss Edberg and Sampras.

Re: Most overrated shot of the big four?

I don't think that's overrated, because everyone knows it sucks.

Nadal's volley is still underrated.

Federer's backhand is not great these days.

Re: Dimitrov at Wimbledon 2015 - perfect chance for a turn around.

How do people get away with racist bullshit like this here?

Re: Is Mahut a favorite for Wimbledon now?

Are people incapable of evaluating context?

Re: How come Gulbis doesn't have play qualies?

I thought commitment players only played the relevant tournaments if their ranking permitted it?

Re: How come Gulbis doesn't have play qualies?

Apparently the #1 seed in qualifying is Pospisil, who is ranked 61. So I am also confused about wtf is going on here.

Re: Nadal's forehand working better on grass than on Clay this year

He's also getting a lot more depth and accuracy on it, with fewer errors, which can't be explained by court speed alone. The only thing I can think of is the lower bounce coming into his racquet is...

Re: If Djokovic wins Wimbledon again I will leave the forum

I agree he's very unlikely to win, but I'd have thought that by know people would have learned that "Nadal" and "no chance" do not belong in the same sentence ;)

Re: Does Nole have a better chance at Wimbledon or US Open?

US Open, definitely. Despite having won 2 Wimbledons and only 1 US Open, it remains that he's a much better player on hard courts than on grass.

Re: If Djokovic wins Wimbledon again I will leave the forum

He's not beating Murray, but if Murray goes out before facing him, I'm not sure who else can stop him.

He's not part of the question though, is he?

Re: Stuttgart R2: [1] R.Nadal def. M.Baghdatis 7-6(5) 6-7(4) 6-2

No no the point I was making is, as I recall, he was saying he played better on faster courts. Today's match proves nothing as 1) it's just one match 2) Nadal is in a period of poor form 3) Nadal won...

Re: Murray vs Nadal vs Djokovic - who has the highest peak on fast HC?

It probably depends on just how fast the hard court is. As you say, Novak is best on slow hard courts. I'd say Nadal on fast hard courts, if we're using the USO for example as our benchmark, although...

Re: Stuttgart R2: [1] R.Nadal def. M.Baghdatis 7-6(5) 6-7(4) 6-2

This was about a year ago I think, but as I remember the context was about what he felt better on.

Re: WWW Tomic vs Nadal Stuttgart 2015 QF's

Tomic has this, but that's fine. Given Nadal's grass play over the last few years added to his current form, a win today was enough to build on. Hopefully he'll go even further next week and go into...

Re: Stuttgart R2: [1] R.Nadal def. M.Baghdatis 7-6(5) 6-7(4) 6-2

Are people still clinging to this absurd notion that Nadal doesn't play well on fast courts? He is a great fast court player. He is powerful, has an underrated serve (when it's clicking, the...

Re: Who is the most UNLIKABLE player on tour?

Surprised Gulbis isn't on here.

Gulbis, Janowicz, Tipsarevic, Kyrgios, Dolgopolov are all highly unlikeable.

Re: Indian Wells R4: [3] Nadal def. [13] Simon 6-2 6-4

Varied performance from Rafa. Some great moments, some terrible ones. It's an improvement at least.

Re: Indian Wells R2: Dimitrov def.Kyrgios 7-6(2) 3-6 7-6(3)

Dimitrov should have won in two, some very poor play in the second set.

Right player won in the end, good for tennis.

Re: Buenos Aires SF: [1] Nadal def. Berlocq 7-6(7) 6-2

Am I the only person who thinks Rafa was poorer than yesterday? Either way, he had some good moments. He fought back very well in the tiebreak. Vamos!
