Re: Is this the absolute peak Federer?

Federer vs Roddick Australian Open 2007 Semifinal was probably Roger Federer's absolute peak in performance overall.

Re: Is this the absolute peak Federer?

Not even close. I still remember back in 2005 were every single ball that comes to his forehand wing is vaporized.

Re: ~~ GOAT discussions ~~ Vol. 2 (Boris Becker's argument regarding Roger)

GOATness is not measured by head-to-head accomplishments against particular players. It is how you dominate the sport as a whole. Roger Federer is the most dominant player in the history. His Grand...

Re: where did feds forehand go... he cant win it without it

I still remember back in 2004/2005 every ball on his forehand wing is vaporized. I don't see it anymore. :'( I think he still win against Raonic, though in straights.

Re: Wimbledon slow as clay. McEnroe confirmed it.

I watched the match on ESPN3 online. Did your hear when he said that it's the movement adjustment on the surface that makes the difference? He specifically said that the grass was slowed down that...

Wimbledon slow as clay. McEnroe confirmed it. (with YouTube video on page 2)

Maybe he was exaggerating it. But he was emphasizing that Wimbledon was slowed down that it doesn't have that much difference in terms of speed. He said that the courts were homegenized that almost...

Dog didn't know what hit him. Fed has too much variety and experience. Gave Dog different looks. Fed serve was ON. The wind didn't bother Fed too much. Another IW Final for the old man. I expect him...

Re: Indian Wells SF: Rafael Nadal def. Roger Federer 6-4 6-2

Fed's movement is definitely compromised. It is very visible. Congrats to Rafa. His forehand to Fed's backhand is still the most effective way to beat Roger.
