Re: Does any player have a worse two handed backhand than Jack Sock?

More like chip, chip, chip and junk balls with late career Roddick's backhand.

Re. Sock... I mean have you seen his doubles partner's groundies?

Re: RG R3: Sock def Coric 6-2 6-1 6-4

Different weight classes.

Sock giving US men's tennis some serious hope! Wimbledon doubles champion has really shown improvement in his singles game and appears to have a higher ceiling to come if...

Have Wilander and McEnroe lost their minds?

Is anyone watching this segment on Game, Set, Mats on Eurosport? Holy shit I can't believe Babsi submitted herself to that sexist, completely un-funny bit ... a self-satisfied and awkward McEnroe...

Re: Lajovic's jumping backhand in an endless loop

Wow. That is a stunning shot. I'd mark that as one of the greatest ever — never seen a spring backhand like that from a one-hander. I always associate it with Rios, Safin -- classic two-handers.

Re: Do Djokovic's chances of a multi slam year in 2015 depend primarily on RG?

Novak is becoming a grass legend, I feel. He's actually quite good on the surface and it's a surface that amplifies his game. His service is becoming such an asset, and his net game very reliable...

Re: WWW? RG R3: Kokkinakis vs Djokovic

Kokk in 3??

Back on this planet, I do expect Thanasi to be a tough challenger. He can really rally. At least one tight set if not a real test.

Re: Do Djokovic's chances of a multi slam year in 2015 depend primarily on RG?

I think he's least likely to win New York. I think he will have good odds to capture another Wimbledon even if he loses in Paris.

Tbh the only year that Djokovic won the US Open, he did have to...

Re: RG R2: Coric def. [18] Robredo 7-5 3-6 6-2 4-6 6-4 !

LOVE that stat. I need conquering Robredo in 5 was significant.

Re: RG R2: Coric def. [18] Robredo 7-5 3-6 6-2 4-6 6-4 !

They're no Bouchards when it comes to arrogance, not at all.

Robredo isn't very good when trying to penetrate with his forehand. Reminds me of Ferrer on Ferrer's off days...they just miss the mark...

Re: RG R2: Coric def. [18] Robredo 7-5 3-6 6-2 4-6 6-4 !

Same.

That showed incredible mental and physical fortitude. To beat the wily, super-fit vet Tommy Robredo in 5 sets is no easy task. Immediate pick-up in intensity and play those last 3 games from...

Re: M.Wilander "Federer Moves and Shoots as good as ever"

Someone send him one of those "Federer old GOAT points" videos on Youtube and then he'll shut up.

Djokovic hitting with Feli Lopez ... what is Toni's stance?

https://www.facebook.com/djokovic.official/photos/pcb.942876649098520/942876375765214/?type=1&theater

Hitting, even playing footie! Are we sure Rafa and Toni approve?

Re: Federer chose to receive first at Rome final?

It's not a bad strategy against Novak. The other top guys know he starts off shaky *often*. Today he was firm on his serve - and nailing first serves - from the first point. Fed gets a lot of his...

Re: Djokovic is one of the best players I have ever seen

LOL at including last two. Safin could play like greatest ever once in a blue moon, and when he did it was scary impressive. But he was a mental midget. And Hewitt had a peak couple of years as a...

Re: Champagne betraying Uncle Toni in endless loop

Yeah Novak doesn't really drink -- if anything, a gluten-free beer? He shouldn't have held the bottle pointing at his face but clearly he doesn't open champagne often, and this bottle is oversized. ...

Re: Rome F: Djokovic d. Federer 6-4 6-3

No, this is the best Nole since early 2012 (or on par with some of his peak fall indoor seasons).

Re: Rome F: Djokovic d. Federer 6-4 6-3

KING.

As a Djokovic fan, it's a rare and delicious sight to see Novak put the clamps down on Fed and dominate him. He stepped up from break point down at 4-4 and never remotely looked back. No.1

Re: Nishikori is Blatantly Overrated

Whoever said he was the 2nd best clay courter was clearly an idiot, and proven wrong today.

Don't group me with the fools, whoever you are.

Re: Borna Coric made 2!!! bagle matches in row in FU in Nigeria

LOL @ N/A. The tournament is so bad that his second round opponent isn't even registered with ITF?

Smart on him to go to a weak-ass tournament to get some confidence wins. Finding your groove with...

Re: Raonic undergoing surgery to repair a nerve in his right foot.

That's too bad. Shouldn't play Paris. Unfortunate because he can actually do damage on clay but he needs to stay fit for the long-run, his best years are ahead of him, maybe still far out.

Nishikori is Blatantly Overrated

Doesn't hold a candle to the generations before him. Above average at best, likely never to be a truly lauded champion if a champion ever.

Moving on.
