Kozlov is awful. I also wonder what he eats with a body as soft as that.

Re: Queens R2: [7] Berdych def. Shapovalov 7-6(4) 6-7(4) 7-5

Shapovalov is such a breath of fresh air.

Shame that boring Berdych won. It was a decent match. Shapovalov has some real weight behind his strokes, though that began to fade as the match...

Re: Queens R1: Lopez def. [2]Wawrinka 7-6(4) 7-5

And if they competed at Wimbledon, Wawrinka would win without a doubt

I remember that strange argument a couple of years ago. Was it in 2015?

Re: Halle R1: Tomic def [WC] Haas 6-4 6-4

Tomic is a great guy. I really love how he just loves to enjoy life and couldn't care less about tennis a lot of the time. Such a talented player, too.

I think I speak for everyone when I say I...

Re: Queens R1: Thompson def. Murray 7-6(4) 6-2

It's almost a certainty that Nadal will reclaim number 1 at some point this year, anyway.

Re: Queens R1: Thompson def. Murray 7-6(4) 6-2

What?

_________

Murray has lost several times in the first round and ended up winning Wimbledon one of those times, I think.

I feel so sad for the English fans who snobbishly 'cheered on'...

Re: Ivo Karlovic: I should've developed 2HBH, I wouldn't lose a match if I had two-ha

I can't believe people are discussing this seriously. Karlovic was clearly taking the piss. Deadpan humour doesn't work with 99% of this forum.

Re: Will we finally get a surprise winner at Wimbledon?

Do you realise that Ivanisevic reached 3 previous finals before his victory and did well in every one of them? He also played in 7 Masters finals and won 2 of them.

Re: Will we finally get a surprise winner at Wimbledon?

Of course Raonic would be a surprise to anyone with a brain - he's clearly not got the talent to win a slam.

Re: 2017 Live Commentary Vol. 9

Re: Who's the best/greater on grass between Rafa,Nole and Murray

Murray of 2013 and 2016 would've lost to Roddick of 2009 and those versions of Nadal he faced in 2008, 2010 and 2011. The best I've seen of Murray was undoubtedly 2012.

Re: Can Stan Wawrinka reach number 1?

I can't see it happening. He would need to hold on to his US Open title and win this event. Both are unlikely. In addition, he'd need to win a few extra events at least.

What I most remember is Wawrinka battering Nadal before all of this occurred. Quite a feeble argument.

Re: WWW?: 2017 Roland Garros Final: [3] Wawrinka vs. [4] Nadal

It could be another stinker like Soderling's finals but I think Wawrinka will do better than that. Hard to see him taking more than 1 set but he definitely has the ability to do it.

Re: Is this is Most 'Never in Doubt' Grand Slam Final of the Last Decade?

Who would've had Murray favourite? He struggled against Dolgopolov in the quarter-finals and went life and death with Ferrer in the following round, almost going 2 sets down.

If he also had a...

Re: Is the big 4 the greatest myth in tennis?

Who cares? It's a stupid moniker.

I don't use these cheesy, plaid out terms.

Compare Wawrinka's slams to Murray's, there's your answer.

Re: RG SF: [3] Wawrinka def. [1] Murray 6-7(8) 6-3 5-7 7-6(3) 6-1

Confirmation of the dire straights I had just described.

Murray fans in absolute despair. Don't worry too much, Wawrinka is highly unlikely to beat Nadal who is quite good on clay.

Re: Is Nishikori "the best player that never won a Grand Slam"

Certainly not. Ludicrous statement. You could maybe argue Soderling, but not Davydenko. In terms of what Nalbandian can do all over the court, he is miles ahead of both.

With such a statement,...

Re: Is Nishikori "the best player that never won a Grand Slam"

Only Nalbandian of these players could be compared to someone like Rios. Davydenko and Soderling are not even in the same universe.
