Re: Why Arthur Ashe Stadium is the worst sports venue in America

I was in Arthur Ashe three times this year, always in the upper section (322-O, 340-H, 323-U).

Re: Wawrinka to miss the rest of the season

López (62 since RG 2002)
Verdasco (57 since W 2003)
Seppi (49 since...

Re: Granby CH F: Kavčič def. Polansky 6:3, 2:6, 7:5

Also interesting that between 2009 and 2012 Kavčič won 7 out of 8 Challenger titles on clay. Since 2013 he won 8 out of 8 titles on hard

Granby CH F: Kavčič def. Polansky 6:3, 2:6, 7:5

Didn't watch the match but what a month for Polansky:

- reaches 3 Challenger finals in 3 consecutive weeks
- loses all 3 finals, always in 3 sets
- reaches new career high ranking (115)

Re: How to pronounce "Zeballos"?

Thanks for the answers, especially raskolnikow. Like some others here I didn't know about the button on the ATP website where the players speak their own name. Cool feature!
I just browsed through...

Re: Super Monday : Schedule of Play !!

I've been camping in the Wimbledon queue for 2 nights last week. Always arrived there around 9 pm, which meant I didn't have a chance for CC tickets next day, could only choose between C1, C2 or GA...

Re: Hamburg QF: [Q] Lucas Pouille def. Benoit Paire 6-3 6-2

Funny, when I was in Hamburg last Sunday I watched the first set of Pouille vs. Renzo Olivo and then went to the stadium to watch Zverev vs. Montanes. Olivo looked a lot more convincing in that first...

Re: Geneva R1: Joao Sousa (POR) def. Joao Souza (BRA) 7-5 6-3

Joao Sousa already played a few matches against Pedro Sousa.

Is this a very common name in Portugese language countries?

Re: 2007 ... rash of Round Robin tourneys?

Does anybody remember why Korolev was declared winner of RR1 in that tourney? Adding up the games he ends up with 17:18 while Blake has 15:14, which I would consider better. Or was Blake punished...

Re: AO SF: Butorac/Klaasen def. Nestor/Zimonjic 6-2 6-4

Not bad, they beat a total of 6 former World No 1s on their way to the final (Hewitt and Rafter being Singles No 1s, but they both won a Doubles Grand Slam title too)

Re: Seoul CH Final: [5] Lajovic def. [2] Reister WO

Too bad, they already played a very close final at some French clay challenger earlier this year. I hope next year Julian can have some success at Atp tour level!
