Re: AO Final: Stanislas Wawrinka def. Rafael Nadal 63 62 36 63

Certainly, there are always a lot of psychologically unhealthy people here spewing hate at each other over a game of tennis.

Anyway, Philosophicalarf's post above shows Nadal's first serve speed...

Re: AO Final: Stanislas Wawrinka def. Rafael Nadal 63 62 36 63

Ah thanks, I couldn't find those numbers. :D

Yup, his first set is at his usual average and something strange is happening after that.

Re: AO Final: Stanislas Wawrinka def. Rafael Nadal 63 62 36 63

Nadal's average first and second serve speed during this tournament until the final:

178.3 km/h and 143.0 km/h

During the final?

162 km/h and 134 km/h

For some reason, he lost a lot of...

Re: 4r USO: Marin Cilic bitchslaps Murray 7-5 6-2 6-2

I'm not a Murray fan at all but this forum is like a home for the disturbed, the amount of hate that exists. It's, uh, a tennis match.

Murray's stats were terrible but Cilic's stats...

Re: Muzzamania-week2: the chavs show up

Big difference is the British crowd actually like when calls are questioned and Hawkeye is used.

French crowd react like you just insulted their linespeople by asking, how dare you!

Re: Commentary at its best

John Inverdale said in the Wimbledon review programme: "At Queens, Roddick beat Hewitt pretty comprehensively". It was 7-6 7-6 and 79 points to 73.

Re: In ONE of the GREATEST SFs EVER: Nadal (1) def Verdasco (14) 6/7 6/4 7/6 6/7 6/4

Break Point Conversions:

Nadal 3 of 17 = 18 %
Verdasco 2 of 4 = 50 %

Could have been a totally different match easily it seems.

Re: Funny Fotos

If Rafa wears pirate pants on a tennis court but long trousers on a pirate ship... uh... does that mean he wears tennis shorts in the street?

Just looking at the stats for winners and errors this tournament, the average day for Federer is a good day for Tsonga.
