Re: Wimbledon F: Djokovic beats Federer 6-7(7), 6-4, 7-6(4), 5-7, 6-4, reclaims No. 1

Better player won. Congrats to Djoker and Fed fans. Great result for both. USO should be good.

Re: No U.S. men or women in last 16 of Wimbledon for first time since 1911

Kids got so many choices these days. Getting rich quick is in NBA/NFL/MLB.

Re: Wimbledon scheduling whining thread

Damn all these "reasons" for no play on Middle Sunday. I wish the ITF could just step in and claim "best interests of the sport" or something for the guys to get their matches in.

Re: Wimbledon R3: Nadal def. Kukushkin 6-7(4) 6-1 6-1 6-1

Can't afford to start slowly in his next few matches. Luckily, these mugs can only stay with him for 1-1.5 sets then toast.

Nadal's hair in the interview after :help:

Re: The Rain Haters Thread!!! (Weather Updates/Complaining)

Re: How would Nadal fare against Sampras on grass?

Pete's serve would win him the match either way. I feel it would be closer than some claim though.

Re: Should Djokovic Hire Lendl or Monica Seles?

Maybe he should get someone like J-Mac or Connors on a trial basis. Get someone that can push him and fire him up.

Get rid of Becker asap.

Re: Endless Federer-Nadal debates

Don't think Fed can beat Nadal anymore except b03 indoors or quicker hard courts. Forget about b05 save for Wimbledon probably - on a very very good day. Of course that is not taking away anything...

Re: Australian Open SF: (1) Nadal def. (6) Federer 7-6 (7-4) 6-3 6-3

The 2012 match was more competitive. I think Annacone's tactics were better on the day.

Might be time to hang it up at the end of the year Rog.

Re: WWW ? AO SF : Federer vs. Nadal

Tight match probably. JesusFed takes a set but Olderer succumbs to Nadal in 4.

Re: WWW ? AO QF : [4] Murray - [6] Federer

Wouldn't be surprised if Fed won in 4/5 sets but a Murray victory is probably more likely. Old man still got it though.

Re: AO R4: Wawrinka def. Robredo 6-3 7-6(3) 7-6(5)

Tommy looked helpless in some rallies vs an attacking Stan. Gotta love what Norman has done for him -- think the mental aspect can improve some though. Tough one against Novak. Will need to get the...

Re: WWW ? AO R16 : [10] Tsonga - [6] Federer

Fed in 5 but won't be surprised by a Tsonga win either.

Re: AO R3: Nadal destroys Monfils 6-1 6-2 6-3

Monfils is trash - been that way for years now. Nadal looking better, should get in good practices vs Kei and Dimitrova.

Re: 2014 Brisbane Final: Hewitt def. Federer 6-1 4-6 6-3

Severe Declinerer in the first set showed up. I don't know what to make of this. Fed looked pretty slow and clueless at times. How is he going to last in B05?! A lot of question marks going into...

Re: The irrelevance of the Australian Open lead-up: a telling stat

Probably because of the speed of the courts as well. Even today Brisbane and Doha play quicker than Melbourne.

Re: Why is Nadal's return game so underrated?

If you mean return to be just plain getting balls back in play regardless of depth, then yes Nadal is really good at this. If you mean aggressive returning, then no. Sometimes he looks clueless...
