Re: RG R3: Gulbis def. [6] Tsonga 2-5 ret.

Federer, Monfils, Nadal, Tsonga.
Wow. The four most like players out with injuries. Awful year for the FO.

Re: Why does the French crowd not like Rafael Nadal?

Rafa is BY FAR the second most liked non French player by the French crowd (behind Federer). The rest is a myth. I saw him play at RG multiple times and he always got a lot of support.

He also...

Re: RG R2: T. Gabashvili d. B. Paire 6-3 6-2 3-6 6-2

A player that barely trains can't be fit. But Paire is too stubborn to understand this.

Re: RG R2: A.Martin def. [29]L.Pouille 6-3 7-5 6-3

Martin actually played very decent and clever tennis.

Re: Monfils Monfilsing in an endless loop

Pretty stupid from both doing that 2 weeks before a Slam. Some kind of injury because of this would have been majorly stupid.

And what a weird way of taking your shirt off.

Re: Tomic 'tries' to return with his racket handle on MP down vs Fog in an endless lo

If the ATP had any guts, they would fine him for that.

Re: When was the last time a player broke 5+ strings in BO3

I remember a WTA match with a player breaking all her strings. It was at the FO a few years ago. Luckily the new rackets came just at the right time. I guess most opponent would be kind enough to...

Re: Istanbul Final: Schwartzman def. [2] Dimitrov 6-7(5) 7-6(4) 5-0 30-30 ret.

It was not even 30-30 as the game went to deuce. It was game penalty and not a retirement.

Re: Bucharest SF: Pouille def. [3] Delbonis 7-6(4) 6-3

Having quite the breakthrough year :yeah: Lucas will be good once he gets confident.

Re: Monte Carlo SF: [5]Nadal - [2]Murray 2-6 6-4 6-2

Damn. Too bad he lost his killer instinct cause at 5-1, this was looking like a major bitchslap of a set.

Re: MC QF: [8]Tsonga def. [3]Federer 3-6 6-2 7-5

Fedtards were blinded by two easy matches thinking their fave was back :spit:

Back to his poor level. 1 Slam in the last 6 years. And 0 in the next 6.

Re: Which country is the most fan of tennis and the one where tennis is more importan

Yeah, it's France by far. Amazing depth, number of people playing, having a Slam, attendance, number of courts, media interest...
Tennis is clearly the second sport in France (rugby is huge but half...

Re: MC QF [5] Nadal defeats [4] Wawrinka 6-1 6-4

Wawrinka used the restaurant's noise as a poor excuse in the first set. Truth is that he didn't wanted to fight with this Nadal today. You could see defeat on his face before the match.

Re: MC QF [5] Nadal defeats [4] Wawrinka 6-1 6-4

Definitely not a good match from Wawrinka but a very solid match from Rafa. There were flashes of vintage Nadal there. He finally played with depth and his FH really clicked. His mindset was...

Re: Monte Carlo R3: (2)Andy Murray def. (16)Benoit Paire 2-6 7-5 7-5

It's depressing to think what could happen with Paire with actual professionalism and at least a small amount of concentration.

Re: Monte Carlo R2: L. Pouille def. R. Gasquet 4-6, 7-5, 6-1

Lucas will get there. He's the kind of player that needs to have a "click" moment and then everything will change. He has tremendous talent and hands. He has made progress on the physical side. Only...

Re: Monte Carlo R1: Federer def. Garcia-Lopez 6-3 6-4

We can't take much from this match in all honesty. GGL was subpar till 3-6 1-4. Especially on serve where he was clearly peeing in his pants (no first serves and being destroyed on weak seconds).

Re: Monte Carlo R2: [2] A.Murray def. P.Herbert 6-2 4-6 6-3

P2H getting better and better. Confidence from doubles doing wonder for him. Too bad he's still lacking experience. He clearly completely missed the service game he lost in the third cause he was not...
