Re: Project RG-2016 for Djokovic. What needs to be Done?

He doesn't need anything, though a favorable draw wouldn't hurt.

Re: Why don't more tennis players skip February?

So, skip February, skip March, heck, skip the whole spring, start playing somewhere in autumn, the summer is ideal for training anyway.

Re: Why don't more tennis players skip February?

As MWW mentioned, many of the top 50 will lose early at IW and Miami and then what? Over two months wasted.

Re: Marion Bartoli on Federer, Djokovic, etc.

One thread for Bartoli's insights is more than enough.

Re: Why don't more tennis players skip February?

Lol, since when the top 50 players play only for grand slams? Plenty of them would achieve their career best if they won an ATP500.

Re: Memphis R1: Harrison def. Tiafoe 6-7(0) 7-6(8) 6-4

Harrison is still 23, so there's still a youngster here who didn't disappoint. :p

Re: I don't think "i love the game" is the only reason Federe still keeps on playing.

Federer loves the game no doubt, however iirc as long as he's a top player playing at center courts, obviously he would never do what Hewitt did, playing the game and being happy with it way past his...

Re: Will Richard Gasquet finally win a 500+ tournament at Rotterdam?

Good chance for sure, but I wouldn't put any money on him. :p

Re: Why is Nishikori so invincible in Memphis?

Well, no one is really trying to discredit him, the thread itself is a bit silly "Invicinble in Memphis", something like Novak being "invincible in Belgrade". :p

Re: Why is Nishikori so invincible in Memphis?

He was also a set down to Ryan Harrison.

Re: Sofia [F]: Bautista Agut def. Troicki 6-3 6-4

Watched only the end of the match, RBA looked solid, though Troicki looked terrible. Not saying that Viktor would've won otherwise, but he really didn't put much of a fight today.

Re: Why is Nishikoro so invincible in Memphis?

Because Kei is US-based, and he seems to prefer staying and playing in the US to traveling to either Rotterdam or Dubai. As for Memphis being similar to IW and Miami, not even close, it deserved to...

Re: Will the weak/thug era bring about a big drop in ATP popularity?

Fed's personality is nothing to write home about, actually he's probably the father of the boring, diplomatic/robotic speeches, save for the occasional outburst after a bad loss. Nadal is even worse...

Re: Novak Djokovic: "I do definitely feel like I have plenty of years in front of me.

What a bizzare argument. Djokovic hasn't played in Rotterdam for 6 years, and certainly he isn't going to start now, after a busy season and with a kid waiting him at home.

Why Berdych and...

Re: Will the weak/thug era bring about a big drop in ATP popularity?

I'm not the favorite, no? We never know what could happen, no? ;) Btw, all Novak's wins on "slow ass plexi" against Federer were fairly straight-forward, lost only one set in 3 matches, that's hardly...

Re: Will the weak/thug era bring about a big drop in ATP popularity?

Federer having 81-4 and 92-5 seasons and you never knew the result, seriously?

Re: Will the weak/thug era bring about a big drop in ATP popularity?

That's because you're behaving like a fanboy, throwing your toys out of the pram because your favorite player isn't winning enough. Federer in his time regularily beat Denko, Roddick, Ljubicic,...

Re: Novak Djokovic: "I do definitely feel like I have plenty of years in front of me.

Do you even realise there has to be certain age difference in the first place? Djokovic came to prominence barely 5 years ago, so the potential "inspired young players" would now be 12-13 yrs old at...
