Re: Who will be the first to beat Rafa at Roland Garros?

Hmm not necessarily.. what if at least one of the legs stays healthy? Or one of the shoulders is fine? If both are out that could be a worry indeed.

Re: Who will be the first to beat Rafa at Roland Garros?

Not a chance. Even a 45-year old Nadal playing right-handed, drunk and using a baseball bat would have little difficulty beating everyone in straight sets at Roland Garros.

Re: Can Nalbandian duplicate his results from last year's indoor season ?

It's a good topic.

I really hope Nalbandian does well. Despite his weak serve he's always very good indoors and if he played Djoko or Murray for example, to me there's no way these guys would be...

Re: Can Anyone Now Win A Slam But the top four?

You don't need to be a natural at all to play well on Wimbledon grass nowadays, it's more like clay v2.0. It's perfect for guys like Safin or Nadal or Verdasco.

Re: Ticket prices - GB Davis cup - bloody ridiculous

Depends how much you wanna see it. For comparison my Arthur Ashe courtside tickets were $2500 each for the final ;)

Re: Federer: "i dont trust his injuries...i think he is a joke"

Federer already pointed it out back then (not in the most diplomatic way but the truth nevertheless), now we can see Djoko hasn't learnt from this and continues to make new enemies.

Re: Roger and Mono: Are you as tired of hearing about this as I am?

You just don't know what you're talking about, comparing mononucleosis to nicks and bruises

Re: Murray into Final, defeats Nadal 62 76 46 64

Yeah, the surface is neither the red French clay or the green British new-clay.

Re: "The level of tennis has gotten better"

Wrong, just go back to watching those old videos. Get another TV and put this year's videos on the other one.

Re: "The level of tennis has gotten better"

It's very hard to prove unless you compare match statistics but I wouldn't take Murray's word for it - just can't be objective on this. They also don't watch a lot of each others matches.

Re: When Murray's game develops, will it be better than peak Federer's?

To be honest, it's really subjective what "better" is, anyone can have a great streak. Maybe the key issue is a sustained peak level over several years, like Federer or Sampras. I don't even think...

Re: 2008: MTF Bandwagon Player of the Month for June : Ernests Gulbis

Yes. For this not to happen, he'd probably have to physically attack a crowd of fans.

Re: 2008: MTF Bandwagon Player of the Month for June : Ernests Gulbis

It's clearly Nadal for both June as well as July. Gulbis created a little buzz but it was forgotten. People are saying Nadal is now "the true #1". It's rare to see so many people jumping onto the...

Re: What's next for Roger?

Exactly right. His serve and FH looked better than ever.

In addition to lack of a nice quick & flat DTL BH, I was pretty shocked how ineffective his perfectly executed slice was vs Nadal, the shot...
