Re: So why are New Yorkers not that good with Djokovic on a regular basis?

Nole is misunderstood? That's all I've got.

I agree it's probably because he tries too hard to get the crowd to like him.

Re: RIP Henry Chinaski loses battle with cystic fibrosis

I very rarely post on this site anymore because as we all know The Duck has retired from playing tennis.
However, I do come here to keep up with tennis, and laugh--a lot.

But I did want to say, I'm...

Re: Will Djokovic surpass Nadal's slams?

Oopps..

I don't think so even though Nole might win a few more.

I'm not sure Rafa will win anymore slams either with his injury issues.

Re: USO Final: Murray beats Djokovic 7-6(10) 7-5 2-6 3-6 6-2

I just think Murray was the underdog. I do think his recent success helped him win over more fans.

I can tolerate his win, for example, even though Andy M isn't one of my favorites. I do respect...

Re: USO Final: Murray beats Djokovic 7-6(10) 7-5 2-6 3-6 6-2

Thank you.

I don't begrudge Andy Murray his win even though he beat Nole--one of my favorite players. I don't mind his fans celebrating either. They deserve it.. as much as Andy for supporting him...

Re: USO Final: Murray beats Djokovic 7-6(10) 7-5 2-6 3-6 6-2

Why so............ testy?

I asked "really" because I didn't understand the significance of the "blue clothes"? Was Nole's camp wearing all blue or something. So I said :help:

And if you think...

Re: Has Murray eclipsed Roddick yet?

To me... it's not a good comparison. Andy M is 5 years younger and has already nearly equaled or surpassed.

I think overall--if he keeps playing as well as he has, then Andy M will overtake the...

Re: I'm a Fedtard and I miss Nadal. Anyone else?

I miss Rafa because I think he brings a lot of intesity to tennis.

And really the guy is how old---25? It would be a shame if his prime and perhaps career were over due to chronic injuries.

Re: USO Final: Murray beats Djokovic 7-6(10) 7-5 2-6 3-6 6-2

Lendl is just hilarious! I think my favorite part of the match was Lendl in Andy's box during the awards ceremony. I'll take an Andy Murray win as long as he keeps Lendl as his coach.

Seriously...

Re: Heads need to roll at the USTA

That is just so... disgusting for the US Open just to be shuffled around like that because of football.

SMH...

Ok... would this happen in France, England, or Australia?

Maybe TPTB need to move...

Re: In light of this year's latest USTA farce, are you rooting for Ferrer to win it a

this. Out of the bad options left I got to go with a player that can "wow the crowd" at least a few points here and there.

But if Ferrer somehow reaches a slam final for the first time in his career...

Re: Heads need to roll at the USTA

I don't know that much about it, but could the USTA told CBS that it's in the best interest of the players to finish it out today. Both Nole and Ferrer wanted to play on Ashe, right? So to me,...

Re: Funny Fotos #6

I think Serena's hair looks great. I love that wild look on HER at least. That other guy--whoever that was, I'm not so sure.

Plus, she looks so fit. I saw her David Letterman, and she really...

Re: Mardy Fish Withdraws From US Open

Oh no... I didn't think you were dissing Mardy at all.

No.. on the contrary, I agree with you. I just think it's got to be scary to be a professional athlete with a heart problem.

Re: Roddick injured since Eastbourne

I think Andy did the best he could with the talent he had.

I just think.. and this is stating the obvious: Andy isn't Pete, Andre, or Connors.

For sure Andy is a very polarizing and charismatic...

Re: Equal prize money debate (Rob Koenig and Tipsarevic agree with Gilles Simon)

I didn't watch the match, but Serena just double bageled somebody!

Plus.. I have watched the promos, and I think Serena looks better than she has in a long time.

I just think...she's a draw. The...

Re: Mardy Fish Withdraws From US Open

I'm always amazed at Shaun White. He had some sort of.. heart defect when he was a baby... and had major heart surgery?
When I was a kid, I remember one my neighbors dying from the same thing Shaun...

Re: Mardy Fish Withdraws From US Open

I just think... once a person has any type of heart surgery at Mardy's age, it's just easy to get nervous--for Mardy as well as his doctors?

Mardy really hasn't been back that long has he? So...

Re: How do you think Nadal's season remainder will unfold?

It's difficult to say how Nadal's season is going to go. It really all depends upon his physical and mental states. If his style of play is hampered by his chronic knee issues, then it's going to...

Re: Wimbledon Final 2012: Federer def. Murray 4-6 7-5 6-3 6-4

Not necessarily... He just has to believe he can win on a given day.

Re: Wimbledon Final 2012: Federer def. Murray 4-6 7-5 6-3 6-4

Hey... if Rosol can knock-out Rafito in the 3rd round(?) at Wimby, then Andy Murray has a shot to win the thing. Andy Murray doesn't have to be legend to beat a legend, necessarily. He just has to...
