Re: Equal prize money debate (Rob Koenig and Tipsarevic agree with Gilles Simon)

Here's some more Wimbledon stats; The average length of the women's singles final since 1980 has been 93 and a half minutes, whilst the average length of the men's singles final has been 151 minutes....

Re: The Rain Haters Thread!!! (Weather Updates/Complaining)

Yes, back on topic...

Re: The Rain Haters Thread!!! (Weather Updates/Complaining)

I don't care about the variables; there are variables in every slam (it's a Champion's job to overcome them). I'm merely pointing out the relative strength of the field on paper. Compare that with...

Re: Create The perfect player

Why do we need to create the perfect player when he already exists? No one aspect of Federer's game is necessarily the greatest (although an argument could be made for the forehand or the movement),...

Re: The Rain Haters Thread!!! (Weather Updates/Complaining)

R1 - Gabashvili
R2 - Del Potro
R3 - Safin
R4 - Haas
QF - Ferrero
SF -...

Re: USO ro16: (4) Ferrer d (13) Gasquet 75 76(2) 64

Gasquet had triple set point in the first set and countless other opportunities... He was actually playing incredible tennis at times, but mentally he's hopeless.

Re: What is Ferrer's main tactic, offense or defense?

Primarily defense, but offense when needed.

Re: Equal prize money debate (Rob Koenig and Tipsarevic agree with Gilles Simon)

Can we not bring a separate issue into this, please? He can admire him as a player, and he can admire him for his views on prize money. What Tipsaervic has said in the past on other topics (e.g....

Re: Will Roger lose a set to win the USO 2012 title?

He might lose a set to Murray. Can't see him losing a set to Berdych or Djoker.

Re: Equal prize money debate (Rob Koenig and Tipsarevic agree with Gilles Simon)

This. There shouldn't even be a discussion over it. With the small exception of players like Djokovic on the men's side, and Serena on the women's side, the men on average put far more hours into...

Re: USO R4: Raonic vs. Murray

He was making fun of Fish's bad health, and also wished injury on Federer.

Re: USO R3: Djokovic destroys Benneteau 6-3 6-2 6-2

And who exactly is taking out the "old guy"? Nole and Roger are the only two players left in the tournament who have yet to lose a set; everybody else looks entirely vulnerable (including Murray and...
