Re: Play to win 2 points vs Nadal for 1 billion Or take 300k.

VictorP the Oil Sheikh over here. For most of us, 300K is a fuckload of money. For me, give me the $ and then I will turn it into me making into the tour to play him in a real match and see what's...

Re: Well done Miami Tournament Organizers?

Yes that it is. IMG is very big influence, especially here in Florida. Donaldson is a California kid so it makes sense to play IW but miss the WC for Miami. US is very big so almost 2 different...

Re: Can Djokovic pass Federer for most weeks at No. 1?

I like how Fedtards in here are making out like 2004-2007 was some prime era of tennis and Fed's competition was through the roof and that is truly laughable. (But then turn around and rag on Nadal's...

Re: Well done Miami Tournament Organizers?

He lost 6-7 in the third to Duckworth IW qualies, I'd have thought he'd play qualies here but he missed the cut. Maybe he did not try to ask for WC? I don't think he has the same management company...

Re: Miami R1: [WC] Rublev def. Carreno-Busta 1-6 6-1 6-4

Expected, imo, after I saw this matchup I knew Rublev was going to win, the upset bug of the youngsters, it goes around. Rublev is seeing guys like Kokk and Kyrgio, Chung, etc. all winning and he...

Re: What will be Djokovic's grass court prep?

Rosmalen? Really? The week right after RG where he is making deep in 2nd week? Does not make much sense

Nole has enough money, he ought to play Queens or Halle if he wants to

Re: Does Raonic's victory over Nadal prove that Sampras would have given him trouble?

Does anybody actually have a legit response to my post or is it all just gifs and one liners?

Nadal serving 130 down the middle and 120 slice out wide, yes that is to Sampras level, even better but...

Re: Maimi R1: Pospisil def. Del Potro 6-4, 7-6 (7)

Absolutely no confidence in that BH that he can hit it w/o pain and that feeling really sucks

Even so, and playing basically with only serve and FH, he was able to keep it tight with a top 50(?)...

Re: Miami R1: Querrey def. Estrella Burgos 6:4 6:3

More like the topspin BH that has hit winners multiple times vs. ATP ranked players in official sanctioned matches, something Estrella struggles to do

Re: Does Raonic's victory over Nadal prove that Sampras would have given him trouble?

Peak Nadal in 2010 USO was serving to Sampras level and even better

I think it would be, peak vs. peak:

AO- Plexicushion or Rebound Ace, I still think peak Nadal wins 7/10 times
RG- Pete has no...

Re: Can Djokovic pass Federer for most weeks at No. 1?

This is quite a few projections

The real thing that matters is YE #1, weeks is only a TB, Nole has 3 vs. Nadal's 3. Fed has 5, Sampras 6

2015 ought to be Djokovic unless Nadal gets it together,...

Re: 1R Calabasas F 11 (15k) USA Clay Thompson (#1367) def Gianni Mina (#263) 6:2 7:6

Plenty of events through the USA all year long future/CH/ATP Q so the only thing really holding him back would be money if that is a problem for him

Re: 1R Calabasas F 11 (15k) USA Clay Thompson (#1367) def Gianni Mina (#263) 6:2 7:6

Yes I remember he was somewhere in SoCal. Oh he graduated? Good, good now he can focus on the tour full time. If he wants, if he can afford it, he certainly has the game

Re: Miami R1: Querrey def. Estrella Burgos 6:4 6:3

Come to Coconut Creek for a week, Estrella. Skip Houston. Let me teach you a topspin 1 hand BH for you for clay court season

Re: 2015 Live Commentary Thread vol 8.

I swear, if Burgos had a consistent top spin backhand he could be top 30 at least

Re: 1R Calabasas F 11 (15k) USA Clay Thompson (#1367) def Gianni Mina (#263) 6:2 7:6

Clay Thompson plays college tennis in the US so 1367 ATP is very under-rated, if he plays more events he can rise well, top 500-600 is possible by end of season
