Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

It's so saddening to watch him cry. But you guys are right, it shows he cares. I hope it doesn't affect him so much.

And quit whining about the fans. It's always at this time some fans like to feel...

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

It's a shame it ended up like this. I'm not so sure if Roger can truly recover from this. It'll take him a lot of effort. He's entering that obscure phase in his career where he has to face others...

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

It's tough now. He can't give up until it's over guys... but it feels like he has. Nadal too strong now on serve.

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

I hate when he serves from behind, but he can still win this. Please break early!

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

I agree with you all. Obviously he has heart, but he's not agressive enough when he needs to. BP now, let's see if he can put some drama into this match (for people other than his fans!)

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

Sad, isn't it? Apart from that mental aspect of the game (though this could still be an implication of that), his service faults have been his undoing in this match. He can't seriously expect to have...

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

Problem is... Nadal is playing really well in key moments. I think this is a case that he just has more guts when he needs to. Roger used to be that way and I guess he still is when it comes to most...

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

Yes! Much needed break. Why couldn't he do this in the third set in one of his SIX missed BP chances? Well, just hold and win this set.

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

I hope he gets an early break, it feels like his one chance is to run away with the set and take to the fifth.

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

I can't believe this piece of shit of a match. But you know what? Plays better who wins the bigger points and that's what Nadal did. I felt Federer was a bit more consistent throughout the set, but...

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

That was a good game. He did well to get this close. Hopefully he has an easy service game so he can focus on breaking him next time.

Loved that. The game he broke Mowgli was so great. Keep it up in the 3rd set, Roger! You can and WILL win this match!

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

One thing is to break then be broken next, but almost break and get easily broken next? NOT! He needs to recover pretty fast.

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

He fucking needed that. Turn around a game with some good serves and getting a challenge right on a ace called out to score in the second set. C'mon Roger, break him now!

Re: ***The Australian Open 2009 Thread***

Isn't that right? Too good from Nadal. Roger had bad first server percentage. He also needs to be more aggressive, but how can he be more accurate? I've seen this shit over and over again. C'mon...
