Re: Djokovic skips Madrid Open

Not true, after a great match against Nadal he was considerably worse against Berdych, of course Berdych played well, but 5 DFs against Berd and 0 against Nadal, almost blew a 4-0 lead... he barely...

Btw, Serbian press claims he's still thinking about it, and will leave the final decision till the end of the week.

Re: French Open: "We will not adjust the seedings in Nadal's favor"

Be careful what you wish for, Nole losing ~800 points won't affect his ranking, however Nadal losing ~1600 would make Nadal drop like a stone. :)

Re: Brad Gilbert says it will be a joke if RG doesn't put Nadal as minimum No. 2 seed

QF or SF what's the difference? Of course, probably it would hurt the tournament regarding the tickets, but other than that, who cares.

Re: Should Nishikori be second favorite at FO?

Yup, exactly, it would be nuts to write him off, besides, sweeping all clay tournaments in the season had to stop eventually.

Re: Should Nishikori be second favorite at FO?

Nadal is the favorite, then Djokovic, then everybody else.

Re: CRISIS: All my favorite porn stars are age 30+ (and the next generation sucks)

Since he was often bragging with his boxing prowess, assuming that there was some truth in what he said, I'd say it's likely he's some security guy there or something like that. :)

Re: Who is more talented? Coric or Murray?

Not really, you can always compare him with the Murray when he was the same age.

Re: Serbia has a serious image problem so Djokovic's lack of popularity...

More like, lack of willingness to take responsibility for their actions, it's always someone else's fault. Having said that, there can be no collective guilt, so Novak has nothing to apologize for.

Re: Djokovic Hype is Annoying

Yup, exactly. Anytime a player wins something biggish, let alone a couple of big matches and/or titles, there's a bandwagon coming along.

Re: Is Life too short?

Well, majority of nature's life doesn't live nearly as long, mostly plant forms, and I sure wouldn't want to live like a plant. :p

Re: Is Life too short?

So, what would be long enough? 100 years? 1000 years? Even one million years is just a drop in the ocean when you consider the age of the Universe. :)

Re: I believe current players give value to slams not history

Indeed you can't, Ivanisevic achieved much more than Wawrinka, 22 titles, multiple Wimbledon finals, while Wawrinka was close to a non-factor until last year.

Re: I believe current players give value to slams not history

Even in a weak era someone like Gulbis could luck out one Wimbledon at best. Moreover, the tournament wouldn't suddenly become worthless just because of that.

Re: I believe current players give value to slams not history

If the current players are great, they will make a great history when you look back later, there is no history per se, without the players.
