Re: Peter Bodo's thoughts on doping...accusing Nadal?

I would suspect any players that have long absences then come back with no rust, no fatigue issue, no getting back to form, just dominating the field. There is an issue in doping in the off season,...

Re: Doping in Tennis Thread (No accusations without proof. Quinzi's comment)

No names were mentioned yet the first response is 2 specific players, why is that? Is the logical part of your brain fighting with the fan boy dreamland you are living in?

Grow up please, most star...

Re: Doping in Tennis Thread (No accusations without proof. Quinzi's comment)

Re: Doping in Tennis Thread (No accusations without proof. Quinzi's comment)

Sports are fueled by casual fans and part time observers, the more ridiculous you make a sport, the more casual fans notice and tune in. Real fans will watch a real tennis match, casual fans want to...

Re: Doping in Tennis Thread (No accusations without proof. Quinzi's comment)

The consumers are just as much as fault as the athletes, for years and years we bought the idea that a better diet, work out regiment and athletes these days taking care of their bodies more were the...

Re: Pierre Ludovic Duclos arrested for attempting to have sex with a 13 yr old girl

I love how all these pedophile advocates come in here and start using the repressed society argument. How about a horny 13 year old experiencing that kind of growth with someone with their own age...

Re: Doping in Tennis Thread (No accusations without proof)

People turn away from the truth and logical thinking because their fantasy views of their hero's and how the world really works will come crashing down. Anyone that is not 12 years old should know...

Re: Grinding wins agains, speed up the courts or the sport will die.

But that effects technique and the speed of which the ball travels, the strings have changed so much in the past 15 years.

Re: how many slams do the following playing have in them?

There is no way Federer win's 3 more slams imo. With a faster surface maybe, hes got maybe 1 or 2 Wimbledon's left in him if hes lucky.

Re: AO F : Djokovic beats Murray 6-7(2) 7-6(3) 6-3 6-2

You would think at your mid 20's you would actually start to mature and become less crazy, it worked for me.

Re: AO F : Djokovic beats Murray 6-7(2) 7-6(3) 6-3 6-2

Some commentator years ago made a point that Murray uses too much energy yelling and swearing and getting down on himself almost after every point he loses. He does not know how to control his...

Re: Will Nole surpass Nadal's GS count at the end of their career?

Too premature, Federer lost a close 5 set match against a tough player in the first major of the year and suddenly he is doing being a threat to Murray and Djokovic? Did we not have this same...

Re: Grinding wins agains, speed up the courts or the sport will die.

The racquet technology is the big reason for the slowing down of the courts as well, you are able to hit such crazy top spin and even power through the slowest of courts. So in a short sighted way...

Re: Grinding wins agains, speed up the courts or the sport will die.

Posters like Cveks with their uninformed opinions and complete bias and love towards one player display a huge problem with individual sports to begin with, Once Djokovic is gone so is another person...

Re: Paris SF: Janowicz def. Simon 6-4 7-5

That is a good counter point, but usually the top players that participate in every grand slam tournament also make it into week 2 so they are playing a lot longer, not to mention the 5 set...

Re: Paris SF: Janowicz def. Simon 6-4 7-5

Not to take away any credit, but does anyone think these wins have anything to do with the top players being exhausted after basically playing an 11 month schedule?

Re: Paris SF: Janowicz def. Simon 6-4 7-5

Why can't people just be happy having multiple players succeed? lol

The game needs variety, as boring as Raonic's game is at times.

Re: Paris SF: Janowicz def. Simon 6-4 7-5

I think you would react that way too if you are struggling financially and have trouble finding sponsors in your own country, then suddenly you win a match that equals your entire career prize money...

Re: Do you think this era will be remembered as a subpar era?

Yeah, a 6 time Wimbledon champion is definitely a fluke winner on a grass court.

Re: WWW Olympics Final: Federer - Murray

I think Murray finally breaks through here. Having already lost the Wimbledon final and winning his first set ever in a grand slam final will help him here. Hes only gotten better for it and his...
