Re: Who has the biggest chance to take out Nadal, besides Nole?

If it's not Djokovic, Mugray, or Rogie I'd like to know who? I think it'll be Djokovic in the QF, there is no besides here at the FO.

Re: Who has the biggest chance to take out Nadal, besides Nole?

I believe that no player(s) will stop the epic blockbuster Djokovic vs. Rafa QF.

Re: Who has the biggest chance to take out Nadal, besides Nole?

I'd say the winner of the Djokovic/Rafa QF makes the F most likely, although Mugray might have something to say about it in the SF, but I have doubts about him making it past the SF. As for the...

Re: Who has the biggest chance to take out Nadal, besides Nole?

Honestly, if Djokovic in the QF, Mugray in the SF, and Rogie in the F can't beat Rafa, then he truly earned the 2015 FO. Remember McEnroe in the 1980 USO QF-F, he had to beat Lendl, Connors, and...

Re: Federer: Nadal-Djokovic QF will affect Novak more

I mean look at the paths of The Big 4 from the QF-F to win it all... Djokovic: Rafa, Mugray, Rogie; Rafa: Djokovic, Mugray, Rogie; Mugray: Ferrer, Rafa or Djokovic, and Rogie; Rogie: Wawrinka,...

Re: Federer: Nadal-Djokovic QF will affect Novak more

Yes, but can Djokovic beat the rest of the Big 4 to win it? I think beating Rafa and Mugray might leave him without enough left in the tank for the finals.

Re: Federer: Nadal-Djokovic QF will affect Novak more

The big question is, can Djokovic beat Rafa, Mugray, and Rogie to win the 2015 FO, the way McEnroe beat Lendl, Connors, and Borg to win the 1980 USO?

Re: Did Nole Miss Out on Glory by Having Nadal In QF Instead of Final?

I feel it will be a Djokovic vs. Rogie final on 6/7.

Re: Did Nole Miss Out on Glory by Having Nadal In QF Instead of Final?

Here's my thoughts, not all of the top 8 make the QF, I'd say Nishikori, Berdych, Wawrinka, and Ferrer could all fail to make it, but the Big 4 should all make it, as for the SF probably Djokovic vs....

Re: Did Nole Miss Out on Glory by Having Nadal In QF Instead of Final?

I think the bigger question is, does Djokovic playing Rafa in the QF and also having potentially Mugray in the SF significantly increase Rogie's chances of making the final and even possibly winning...

Re: Nadal's last redoubt: Cavernous Chatrier/BO5/Hot Day sessions..Will it matter?

Here's the question, was he better in 2009 or now in 2015? I'd say in 2009.

Re: Federer and Djokovic's demons...

Although of the three events I mentioned Rogie's been in the finals of all 3 of them, Djokovic only 2 of the 3, he hasn't been in an Olympics singles final yet.

Federer and Djokovic's demons...

Fed: Monte Carlo, Rome (unless he wins tomorrow), and Olympics singles gold
Djok: FO, Cincinnati, and Olympics singles gold.

Re: ROME F: Djokovic-Federer WWW

I'm also almost positive 0-4 in Cincinnati for Djokovic, so he has his own demon.

Re: ROME F: Djokovic-Federer WWW

Yes he hasn't won MC yet true, but look at the wording again, MANDATORY evnt, MC is NOT a mandatory event.

Re: ROME F: Djokovic-Federer WWW

Rogie so deserves this title. Three titles he's never won yet coming into 2015.. Brisbane check, Monte Carlo x, now another shot at Rome. If Rogie can finally win Rome, in 2016 the only titles that...

Does Nadal only care about the FO?

It seems like Rio, Buneos Aires (even though he won it), Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, and Rome all mean very little to Rafa. IMO he ONLY cares about the FO. The other clay events that used to...

Re: Rome R3: R. Federer def. K. Anderson 6-3 7-5

Just check his career, since like 2010, Rogie makes 1 final on clay per year (2010 Madrid loss to Rafa, 2011 FO loss to Rafa, 2012 Madrid win over Berdych, 2013 Rome loss to Rafa, 2014 Monte Carlo...

Re: Rome R3: R. Federer def. K. Anderson 6-3 7-5

It's not exactly like Rogie's been that bad on clay in 2015, 7-2 record with a title in Istanbul. He lost to tight one to Mugfils and a verrry close one in a 3rd set tiebreak to Kyrgios. I mean...

Re: Rome R3: R. Federer def. K. Anderson 6-3 7-5

Yes, Rogie did in the 2009 QF in Canada to Tsonga, up 5-1 in the 3rd set, then lost in a 3rd set tiebreak on match point being on his own racket, a double fault.

Re: Rome R3: R. Federer def. K. Anderson 6-3 7-5

Rogie is now 7-2 on clay in 2015 and 23-4 overall with 3 titles.

Re: Predict Nadal's claycourt season....

It's Rafa's worst clay court record since 2003 (11-6, yes 6 losses). Rafa has lost at Rio, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and now Madrid. He only won Buenos Aires because nobody was there, I mean come on...

Re: Istanbul F: (1)Roger Federer def. (3) Pablo Cuevas 6-3 7-6(11)

As long as Rogie wins some matches at Madrid and Rome, he'll likely do better than 2014 (absent from Madrid, 3rd round of Rome). 2014 FO he made the 4th round, so Rogie likely won't improve too much...

Re: Istanbul F: (1)Roger Federer def. (2) Pablo Cuevas 6-3 7-6(11)

Yes, I'm really hoping for both too. There's no way Rogie's done winning titles in 2015. He's got more damage to do.

Re: Istanbul F: (1)Roger Federer def. (2) Pablo Cuevas 6-3 7-6(11)

Yes, but Halle and Wimbledon, Rogie should be able to win 1 or both of them.
