Re: Düsseldorf R2: Melzer def. (4) Sousa 7-6 (6) 4-6 6-4

I was courtside yesterday watching the match. Sousa is really making it difficult to cheer for him as he is complaining way too much - about opponents winners, spectators, ditches in the court, balls...

Re: Rome R3: T.Haas def. S.Wawrinka 5-7 6-2 6-3

Stan was up a set and a break (2:1 in the second set), and at the changeover he started to complain to the umpire about Tommy talking to his coach Alex Waske.

Umpire said he didn't notice anything,...

Re: Is Federer kicking himself now for his performance vs Nadal?

Well before the final it was a pretty devastating h2h record for Wawrinka against Nadal.

At least Federer has a 10:23 record with lots of sets won in those 23 defeats which is arguably better than...

Re: How did Baghdatis ever make a slam final?

That was some inspired stuff by Baghdatis back then ... defeating one seed after another. Roddick was #3 back then, Ljubicic #8 and Nalbandian #4 and he beat all these guys, he was simply in the zone...

Re: Doha QF: Gojowczyk def. Brown 6-3 3-6 7-6(5)

come on Portuguese users, beat this guy up

crazy match, too. Both seemed so scared in the tiebreak.

Re: David Marrero plays futures in Spain

Re: WWW DC Final: Bozoljac/Zimonjic vs Stepanek/Berdych

But wouldn't it have been smarter to let Rosol play the first Singles rubber, given that the Czech were always going to play Doubles with Stepanek and Berdych?
If Stepanek loses the 5th rubber, that...

Re: ATP World Tour Finals 2013(Draw Added in Post#4 by *Jean*)

Davis Cup Final is right around the corner and the Czechs badly need Radek's point against Tipsarevic, thats why he needed to get matches under his belt and play Challengers.

Re: Bogota CH R1: Jonas Luetjen def. Gastão Elias 6-1 6-2

Earlier this year I saw Elias at Braunschweig challenger and it was a devastating first round loss.
He showed bad body language and looked beaten already even though he's only lost the first set....

Re: Vienna QF: Haase def. Fognini 6-7 6-1 6-1

Had no idea Robin Haase speaks German as well as a native speaker. Does he train in Germany or something?

Re: Vienna R2: T.Haas def. M.Mecir 7-5 7-6(8)

Often posts by that user are very ambiguous, to the point where its not clear if its love or hate for Tommy.

Re: Vienna R2: T.Haas def. M.Mecir 7-5 7-6(8)

To me it appears that you are a fan of Tommy Haas, and yet you take every chance to misspell his last name. Whats the matter with that?

Re: Moscow R1: Donskoy def. Baghdatis 6-3 3-6 6-4

Gotta give Marcos credit for still trying it on the tour, week in and week out even though he's lost so many first round matches this year.

He doesn't need the cash, he has a beautiful family and...

Re: Beijing R1: Tomic def. Zhang (WC) 7-6(4), 6-4

Good for China to have both a 500 and a 1000 event in their country, but for their players it would probably be better if they hosted a 250 event.

It tells a lot when a player like Bernard Tomic...

Re: Kuala Lumpur Final: Sousa def. Benneteau 2-6 7-5 6-4 (saved 1 MP)

Can't help but feel bad for Benneteau. He looked devastated in the trophy ceremony.
Sousa was the mentally stronger player, especially on all those 30-all points, and fending off all those break...

Re: Kuala Lumpur R1: Sousa def. Harrison 6-3 6-2

interesting language discussion ;)
What I know is, people are usually very proud of their language, especially the more difficult it is to learn or to speak. When I was in Budapest this year our...

Re: St.Petersburg QF J.Sousa schools Tursunov 6-4 6-3

Congrats to Sousa, who has a good chance to reach the final now.

Still I'm gonna agree with ANnaK 4ever. No disrespect for his opponent, but Tursunov made him look good, from the first point till...

Re: Hamburg QF: Fognini def. Haas 6-2 6-4

Really expected Tommy to beat him this time, but Fabio is very confident at the moment. Serves well to and gets to every ball Tommy plays and that is a problem for him. This match sort of reminded me...

Re: Hamburg QF: Delbonis makes it hard but saves 2MP to beat Verdasco 6-7 (5) 7-6 (8)

Fernando's reaction after losing the 2nd set was hilarious ;)
He was shouting to his box, though he has no one to blame but himself for losing this match.

German commentator at some point said...

Re: Hamburg R3: Haas def. Berlocq 6-2 6-4

Rested legend beats tired legend, seems fair

Interestingly though, Tommy serves for the match at 5:2, and then suddenly it looks the other way round.
