Nightmare draw:

Re: Federer : The Mother Of All Quests : 20 Slams And 100 Titles.

Well, Haas is the most similar player to Federer on tour and is almost there despite collecting 2-3 injuries per year.

Federer certainly should be able to win titles like Halle until 40. Hell, he...

Re: Where the hell is grass tennis going to be when Federer and gang retires?

The final was depressing as hell, what I meant was that it was regenerating itself in the background, with Federer foremost but also many other all courters integrating a more dynamic game to adapt...

Re: Where the hell is grass tennis going to be when Federer and gang retires?

Yeah, I know what you are speaking about. We have guys like Mahut, Benneteau and so on who also feel very natural on the court. We have Tsonga at 32, a little bit younger, who feels very natural on...

Re: Halle Final [1] R. Federer Def [4] A. Zverev: 6-1, 6-3

Federer only loses to guys outside top 100 in first rounds this year.

Re: Stuttgart R2: Tommy Haas d. Roger Federer 2-6 7-6(8) 6-4

Reason I might be really happy with this outcome afterall is that it might serve to make Haas belief in his game and motivate him to play until his 40th birthday atleast.

Just hope he can follow...

Re: Stuttgart R2: Tommy Haas d. Roger Federer 2-6 7-6(10) 6-4

If there is anyone you want to see df Federer on grass in Germany its old Haas. Good match, Federer was a bit rusty, but should steadily improve as he gets more matches under his belt.

This match...

Re: Roland Garros Final: [4] Rafael Nadal def. [3] Stanislas Wawrinka 6-2 6-3 6-1

This was a brutal end to a brutal tournament and a brutal claycourt season.

Congrats Rafa, his most impressive RG final to date.

The limits to Stanimal was ultimately Rafa in an RG final. He...

Re: Clay Warrior: Longevity Issue

It is up and down with Nadal, it has been so his entire career. Steep peaks and steep declines.

He is no Djokovic or Federer, who can go on 25-35 straight QF streaks. He might even play good...

Re: your sincere advice to Djokovic

Completely sincere advice from a major non-Djokovic fan:

Come back to sith lord Becker with a bag containing the head of Pepe Imaz (anything else would not count as a sincere apology), then go in...

Gasquet in top 3 at volleying?

Re: WWW: RG QF: [4] Nadal vs. [20] Carreño Busta

Remind me about the top players he has beaten to get there and I might agree.

Re: Roland Garros R3: Wawrinka def. Fognini 7-6(2) 6-0 6-2

Nadal in good form would be really though in an RG final even for Stanimal. But I am still hopeful. This is looking good indeed.

Re: RG R3: [4] Nadal def. Basilashvili 6-0 6-1 6-0

Nadal was in beastform today, some gears above last 2 matches. In any case, Basailashvili just had no read on his spin and he really lacks anything worthy of being called a weapon.

RBA will be the...

Re: RAFA and Djokovic have been drawn in the same half 7 out of 7 times this season

The conspiracy goes further, now Raonic is also part of it.

By the way, one thing I always found odd was the fact that Ferrer never ever faced Federer in a slam during the height of their...

Re: RAFA and Djokovic have been drawn in the same half 7 out of 7 times this season

8/31 is 0,37% + 7/31 which is over 0,12% you already get to 0,5%.

I wont even have to add 6/31 and 5/31, and so on.

In any case, it actualy gets to around 0,55%

2014 AO
2013 Usopen
2013 Wimbledon

Re: RAFA and Djokovic have been drawn in the same half 7 out of 7 times this season

You are once more not counting the "atleast" odds. Which means the odds of 3 coins falling heads out of 4, and the odds of 4 coins falling heads.

P(3/4)+P(4/4)=P(atleast 3 heads)

Which is 5/16....

Re: Is it just me or does Wawrinka always get favorable Grand Slam draws?

It is absurd that you call Wawrinka´s draw favorable.

Fognini is the toughest 3R opponent you can get and has showed potential to play splendid claycourt tennis this year.

Dolgopolov has won...

Re: RAFA and Djokovic have been drawn in the same half 7 out of 7 times this season

Did you calculate the odds of the exact number of times Djokovic landed in either camp, or did you count the odds of him atleast landing that many times?

Say when you calculated the odds of...
