Re: WWW US Open 2014 Final: Marin Cilic vs Kei Nishikori

Having a proven doper(Cilic) in the final is not a good look for the sport. I hope Kei can come through because having Cilic win this a year after his suspension would be a travesty.

Re: U.S. Open QF: (14) Cilic def. (6) Berdych 6-2 6-4 7-6 (7-4)

Not Roger's fault the other top seeds lost early or chose not to compete.

Re: US Open QF: [10] Nishikori def. [3] Wawrinka 3-6 7-5 7-6(7) 6-7(5) 6-4

Virtual walkover or knowing Kei a real one for Novak/Andy in the semi.

Re: Cincinnati QF: [5] Raonic def. [15] Fognini 6-1 6-0

Hopefully he's fined for a lack of effort. No one in the ATP top 500 has any business getting breadsticked and bageled by Raonic.

Re: Cincinnati QF: Benneteau def. (3) Wawrinka 1-6 6-1 6-2

Stan :o

So frustrating to watch him play because when his game is clicking he's unplayable. Laser like precision on both wings, but when he hits a bad patch he keeps trying to hit winners instead of...

Re: Cincinati R2: Djokovic def Simon 6-3 4-6 6-4

Considering the windy conditions I thought both played well. Same old story for Giles, plays the top guys tough but ultimately falls short.

Re: Toronto SF: [13] Tsonga eases past [7] Dimitrov 6-4 6-3

Grigor seemed fatigued and maybe Roger Rasheed is pushing him a bit too hard in the training. That always seems to be a problem for his players after working with him for an extended period of time.

Re: 2014 Live commentary thread vol. 20

3 Winners to 24 unforced errors for Ferrer if this graphic I'm looking at is right. Shocking stuff

Re: Toronto QF: Tsonga def Murray 7-6(5) 4-6 6-4

Good that Jo is showing some life. His year has been lackluster up until this point.

Re: Bogota SF: [WC] Tomic def. [8] Estrella Burgos 7-6(2) 6-7(5) 7-6(5)

"Tomic tanks matches and only cares about partying. What a mug".

Come on MTF, now Tomic shows some passion during a match and that is unacceptable?

Re: Fognini called his opponent "fucking gipsy" during the match

Guy didn't get the message when he was fined during Wimbledon. Maybe a temporary ban would do him some good.

Re: Rafael Nadal: The Quest for 20 Grand Slams

Too conservative an estimate. The immortal Nadal will surely finish with 30 slams.
