Re: NBC: Why have Djokovic's four straight grand slams flown under the radar?

It's just the butthurt westerners who are furious that a Serb is breaking so many records and achieving things Federer and Nadal have never done.

This is nothing new, the moronic british put...

Re: WWW? 2016 Barcelona QF: [1] Rafael NADAL vs [12] Fabio FOGNINI

Nadal in 3. Fognini has a chance by redlining.

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

Both options lead to the same conclusion: Federer's level wasn't the highest ever.

With option A, Federer's tennis was never that high, as proven by his lack of major achievements compared to...

Re: Djoko to play Madrid now???

History is showing that preparation involving winning tournaments isn't necessary to win slams. Novak won Monte Carlo and Rome 2015 but lost at RG; Wawrinka didn't win any clay masters and won RG...

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

Your argument isn't neutral, otherwise you would have already realized that whether or not Federer lost to teens because he played his best or because he failed to play his best wouldn't change...

Re: Should Novak ditch Becker as a coach?

Bringing in someone new as a consultant that can offer fresh ideas could help. I think Novak will win RG, he just has to approach it with the right mindset; he definitely has the skills required.

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

Basically, all you're saying is that you refuse to accept that prime Federer got outplayed and beaten many times by teenagers. A typical Fedtard in denial.

It doesn't matter if a teenager's...

Re: Monte Carlo round 2: Vesely beats [1]Djokovic 6-4 2-6 6-4

This is clearly a tank, I knew Novak wasn't going to make deep runs at all 3 clay masters on his schedule, just play 2 of them seriously.

Novak is the only player in tennis history to have won...

Re: Tsonga on Novak: He is an alien and what he is doing is exceptional

Tsonga confirming what other players have said: Novak is showing the best level ever.

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

I picked both your options, so you should pay more attention before repeating yourself. Federer's level can't be the highest in either case.

Simply saying Federer wasn't at his best when he lost...

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

I didn't ignore it; In my post I said anyone can
lose to mugs (Querrey).
However, it shouldn't be a frequent occurrence for the world #1, especially when the surface favors his game.

Novak had...

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

Everything you're saying doesn't support anything about Federer's level being great.

You're so dense, you keep asking me to pick, but regardless of what I pick, I am still proven right about...

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

There is nothing to suppose or guess: Federer got owned by teenagers who just got on the tour and where nowhere near their prime, hence it's Federer's level that wasn't good enough because his losses...

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

Federer lost to 17 yo Nadal at Miami 2004 and to 19 yo Berdych at Olympics 2004.

Federer lost to 18 yo Gasquet at Monte Carlo 2005 and to 19 yo Nadal at RG 2005.

Federer lost to 19 yo Nadal at...

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

Your point is still meaningless because even if you explain the losses with whatever bullshit reason you want, the fact remains that Federer in his prime still lost to opponents who either weren't...

Re: Djokovic will play in Madrid

Novak should skip Madrid. Monte Carlo and especially Rome are much better preparation for RG.

Re: Tour is the same, it's Novak who raised his level dramatically

Novak clearly raised his level: better serve and volleys, more efficient with shot selection, mentally tougher and his fitness is great. Becker definitely made a difference and Novak will continue to...

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

There is an explanation: Federer's level wasn't good enough and he got exposed by players who could take advantage of his backhand and execute their game plan.

You've come up with all kinds of...

Re: Miami Final: (1)Novak Djokovic def. (6)Kei Nishikori 6-3 6-3

Great win by Novak for another all time record of 28 masters. :)

The only player to have won the IW-MIA double 4 times (2011, 2014, 2015, 2016) and to have won the first 3 masters of the year.

Re: Long gone are the days when 180cm and shorter players are winning anything

It's up to the players to make the necessary adjustments. Shorter players tend to have much better mobility, a key part of being successful in tennis. Ferrer usually frustrates his opponents with his...

Re: The X on Djokovic Thread [all interview opinions on Djokovic go here]

This is tennis, it's not that deep. Or in the words of Nadal after Wimbledon 2011 final: "the game is not that complicated".

Your argument had no merit at all because Federer endured those loses...
