The original discussion for wild cards was based on simulating ATP events, but it was determined (rightly so) that this would be too subjective and open to argument.

I voted no to the new proposed wild card idea because I think the managers already have enough work to do without adding another layer rules. Additionally, everything you argue for, TFC, you claim to be in the interest of fairness, but in reality it's simply for your benefit because you want to play in ATP events, and playing in qualifiers is ALL based on luck, and you don't care about the players in the challengers, etc., etc., etc.

If I was in your position, I would relish the chance to advance through the ranks. It really shouldn't be that hard. There aren't too many players yet. Wouldn't you feel more of a sense of accomplishment by earning your way up the rankings rather than just having everything handed to you on a silver platter?

1st: We cant know if all the people who votes in this type of poll are TT Players....

It is easy for us (high ranked) to commit into a tournament, buy maybe there are few guys more "TT talented" than us and they dont have ranking.. The only difference is they started to play little time ago or they arent playing now... And we started in the TT beginnings...

We should give opportunities to new players; it is hard to win points in challengers and the matches are harder to predict too...
And TT is more realistic with Wildcards and SE.

Another Idea to make Tennis Tipping more competitive is to duplicate the challenger points. Per Ex. if a Challenger Winner gets 50 points, he should get 100 points...

Conclusion:
With the Entry List System. we will be always the same players playing the same tournaments.... :) Sounds boring... :p

Wow I can't believe so many "no"s. It seems like a no-brainer to me - I can't think of any negatives (if it is implemented like I mentioned in the rules and changes thread). May I enquire as to the reasoning behind the "no"s? Sorry Adam! :p
