Re: Entry List
Wow, Andreev is like the only Russian not playing here. Even Tursunov who's lived in CA since he was 11 is going.

Re: Entry List
According the organizers Hewitt's accepted an invitation but still not sure because of wellknown reason. And there are Philippoussis, Enqvist and Murray who have a chance to get a wild card.

And what a list... Even don't know whom to support to (allez la Frace or kom igen Sverige?..), although anyway I'm going to visit the tournament.

Re: Entry List
Why is Andreev playing Lyon instead of this tournament? :(

Anyway, best of luck to last year's finalists, Nikolay, Dmitry, Max, Tojo, and Marat.

Safin confirmed arriving to Petersburg.

Marat Safin officially refused to take a part in Kremlin Cup tournament because of left knee injury. There are his programme on the official site of the tennis player. A treatment of the injury goes good and in this season Marat takes a part in St. Petersburg Open and then he plays in Masters tournament in Paris and in the final tournament of ATP in Shanghai. This amount of the playing practice will help to define the loads injured knee can sustain. But in the same time Safin hasn't decided yet when he starts his season in 2006 year.

NO! :(
Check it out:
Basel - Prize Money: €829,000, 50 race points for the winner
Lyon - Prize Money: €659,000, 45 race points for the winner
St. Petersburg - Prize Money: $975,000, 50 race points for the winner

But who's cared to go to Russia... Federer must play in his homeland, Roddick's raquet sponsor makes him to play in France, frenchies prefer certainly to play at home too - everybody has a reason.

And your Igor... Maybe he has a special reason. Or perhaps he just doesn't like this tournament. He lost in the first round last year according my memories... Anyway he left the tournament with such a face:
So...

WOW! It would be great if he comes!

Marat WILL play... according to his official site at least. But we all know how unexpectedly he can change his mind. Not this time, I hope  I'm coming to SPb for him :) And for Enric Molina... LOL kidding!
