Best-of-3 final again

I bet they will have a best-of-3 final again. Here is some proof.

ABC schedule:

Sunday, March 16, 12:30-3:00 pm est, men's final (live)

There is only 2:30 allotted for the final, which means best-of-3 .

What makes you think they would have changed the format? All of the North American TMSes are best of three sets.

Not true.

The Miami final is always best-of-5 and will probably be that way again this year.

The Indian Wells final was also best-of-5 up to 2001. Then in 2002, it all of a sudden turned into a best-of-3. I suspect it was due to ABC.

And this year, ABC is showing the final again, so it will probably be best-of-3 again.

2 and a half hours alloted to the final... but that doesn't necessarily mean a best of 3 setters... does it?

I hope it's not... this is half a grand slam in terms of ranking points.. surely best of 5 would be more apt
