What about Montreal? I hope he adds that to his schedule. I'd rather him play there instead of Long Island as preparation for the US Open.

I still do not understand why he'd skip TMS Canada. I don't think he will, especially not to play Long Island

Seeing as Long Island isn't at the same time as Montreal that shouldn't really be a problem.

The problem is him playing four clay court tournaments after Wimbledon. Six tournaments overall between Wimbledon and the US Open? He usually plays 4.

I refuse to believe that he's all of a sudden going to pick up 2 extra clay court tournaments and drop a required event.

If he does do this it will be impossible to defend him against anybody who suggests that he pads his ranking with fluffy clay court tournaments. For the past two years that has had little truth, but with that schedule they have a case.

This schedule really irritates me . If he really is going to miss Montreal, I'll be pissed! Even though I'm probably not going, still it's the Canadian Open and why oh why he would miss coming to this country just once in a year. Not to mention that this is the tourney TSN has the most complete coverage the whole year, even though the commentating is quite, errrrrrrr, no comment!

jcluvva 02-16-2003 05:29 PM

I think they probably just missed Montreal off the list I can't belive he won't play that it's a TMS:rolleyes:
