Hoping for one of the seeded nations... (we play at home against any of them).
My bet is Israel first, then Denmark/Sweden, and finally Japan at home for the world group... :D
It could happen...:D:D:D

Kazakhstan seeded team
Teams to avoid for France : Australia (always hard to travel there), Great Britain (with murray & murray/flemming in doubles) and switzerland (if Federer is playing with Wawrinka)...

They've been there. The article was edited. I guess it depends on October results who is seeded?

The draws for Europe/Africa Zone Groups I and II will be held following the two remaining Europe/Africa Zone Group I play-off ties on 25-27 October.

[*] = Choice of ground decided by lot. Could you explain why it is like that for Kazakhstan or Japan?

Re: 2014 World Group Draw

Those teams have never played each other and so the choice of ground was decided by lot. Next matches of those teams would be other way round.

World Group and Zone Groups I and II

Ties are contested in a best-of-five rubbers format and are played over a three-day weekend. There are two singles on Friday, a doubles on Saturday and then the reverse singles on Sunday. The tie is hosted by one of the competing nations.

The host nation is decided depending on where the two competing teams played their most recent tie against each other, as long as the tie took place after 1970. Any ties before this date don’t count towards the choice of ground.

If a nation had home advantage last time then it will be away next time, and vice versa. If the nations have never previously met, or if they faced each other at a neutral venue, then the choice of ground is decided by lot.

Great draw for the brits, would expect semi-finals minimum, aslong as Murray commits

Actually i see them going out in the 1st round. If the match would've been played at home on grass i would've said the opposite but here, even though Murray wins both matches (as he should), Bryans will probably beat the brits and Isner will beat Evans. It will all go down to Querrey vs Evans and on home soil, i'll go with Querrey
