WWW Madrid R1: Goffin - Verdasco

Match is tomorrow afternoon.

Goffin has a chance to get some of his lost confidence here, after he lost to Nando in 5 sets at the AO. He will have to be patient, and work his way through every point from the baseline. Should stay away from making unnecessary net approaches.
Wonder who will serve more double faults here.

Really hope David can win this, he really needs to, but I predict Verdasco in 3 with lots of breaks.

Impossible to predict this one. Verdasco should win of course, but it's still Verdasco.

I'll have some faith, Nando in 3 :sobbing:

You seem like someone who has banged his head against the wall over Fernando on a couple of occasions.

Verdasco's form has been so, so bad. It's not like Goffin is completely in form either, but I think he will still win in 3.

A federer fan basically encouraging a player to push. Brilliant.

I don't think you know what 'pushing' means.

Djokovic works his way through every points from the baseline. Is he a pusher?

If Verdasco loses this one he should realise he has become completely hopeless and retire.

It's the bit that you put at the end "should stay away from making unnecessary net approaches."

If you do that you're a pusher? Most baseliners do that. Hell, even Federer stays away from unnecessary approaches.
