ITF Sunrise QF [6]R.Ginepri d. [1]P.Sousa 7-6 6-2

Fantastic display of tennis from Ginepri who's on the road for the top 50 again.

How do you know it was a fantastic display of tennis?

FiloV taught me how to 'read' the scoreboard.
It took me 5 months to assimilate his techniques and I'm now able to tell you whether a player has been good or not without actually watching the match.

:p Lol. He is missed though.

On topic: Poor Ginepri got bageled by Daniel Dutra da Silva (maybe brother of Rogerio?) in the previous round which is pretty awful if you've ever seen him play. Point of no return for Robby imo.

You're overrating him imo. His movement to the forehand side left a lot to be desired and better players will be able to pounce on those short and loopy approach shots. Besides, he looked a bit tired towards the end, which raises serious questions about his stamina. I'd not expect top 50 if I were you

Yes according to wiki they are brothers.
This Daniel won 3 futures in late 2012 after 2 years without any futures title.
Robby hasn't played since US open so his form is very unpredictable.

He certainly has a lot of work to do if he wants to get seeded at US open.

Robby's best tennis days are well behind him now  At one time he was actually ranked #15 in the world, but that was years ago!

his deep run at 2005 us open was something to remember.
besides he played an even match against peak nadal the same year.
