It was actually needed, unlike the ATP section on WTAWorld, because WTAW crashed much more frequently than MTF.

I will be posting a full announcement explaining the situation shortly. I understand this will disappoint some people but the WTA forum on here was only ever meant to be a temporary solution to deal with technical issues.

Yes, but it was useful. I presume this means we will be able to post under the same username, with the same amount of credentials on here (posts, rep, avatar etc.)?
