Kooyong Aami Classic Hewitt def. Berdych 6-3 6-2

Lleyton "Rusty" Hewitt showing some vintage moments, certainly moving better than he has in a long time and surprisingly popping out a lot of aces. Long may it continue!

Berdie

Go Lleyton!

Hewitt is truly unpredictable these days. On his day he is still a great tennis player but other times he totally sucks.

I'll say it. Pre-AO tank by Berdych.

I wouldn't go that far... Hewitt was actually playing aggressive and hitting the lines.

Berdych did keep looking at his taped finger...

Not a usual pushing performance from a Rusty but a quite impressive one. Lleyton really looks really motivated and into it.

here we go again

Berdych playing like a tramp usually means one thing - draws Federer quarter, continues playing like a tramp but winning, plays Federer and hits 80 clean winners with 5 errors

That's right. He must have been thinking about the AO draw...praying to draw Fed. What will this guy do once Fed retires

Hoping Hewitt gets a half decent draw at the AO and does some damage :)

This, please. Everytime AO time comes around these last few years, I see flashes of his 2005 run and can't help but hope.
