Re: Montpellier Entry List (T/K)

Three top 10 players on this ATP 250 . This could easily be the list of an ATP 500.

This is interesting to see that Hanescu, Ungur, Hajek and Haider Maurer decided to write down to play here than doing it on clay in Santiago where they would have had a better chance to go deeper on the draw (Hajek and Haider Maurer would have been already in the main draw) .

A 28 player draw with a cut off of 106. This field hasn't nearly got the depth of an atp500 field.

Any news on Wildcards? I think De Scheeper will get one. Maybe Serra? Mahut should get in direct.

I wad thinking Olivetti - he did great results last year in montpellier or Marseille (he beat Fish as I can remember).
De Scheeper is not in top form - I think more to Mannarino with his victory in Noumea!

Olivetti had a elbow operation at the end of last year, so I don't expect him to be back before March. Maybe the end of February if he recovers fast
For the WCs Mannarino and Ouanna have good chances from my point of view. De Schepper also, in indoor he's a monster ;)

Mannarino entered Bergamo that week. I don't know if all the WC will go to frenchies but one will be decided with FFT and go to a young player.

Interesting. I am pretty curious to know who is this French player that Patrrick Dominguez think.
Young player should be Lucas Pouille I guess - they want to encourage him this year as it seems.

he didn't say French but probably they would love to have Tsonga if that's who you think about ;)

Mathieu just had a small thigh cramp, no problem for Montpellier.

For Mahut, I wonder as well, he was pessimistic when he had to retire in doubles in Australia (his knee still bothered him after tough treatments in the off-season), but it seems that he's accepted recently to enter Montpellier and Rotterdam qualies, then he must be more optimistic.
