Different Contests then the one's we have?

I was thinking, MTF has. Dumbest poster contests, Most popular best poster, Sexiest Man and Woman?

What about a Rookie of the year award? Anyone who has joined in 2012 can be considered for this award. These are posters who contribute frequently, with great ideas, know their tennis, have unique personalities and have made an impact on MTF.

Would such a contest be worth doing?

I would say yes. But then again I am a rookie so probably biased

I'm not a rookie, and I think this sounds fair.

Of course the other 4 contests are given green light first, so they should run first. If the Australian Open hasn't started yet by the time everything's behind us why not?

I feel it's a positive way to end MTF's "off season". :)

Not a rookie, but not an old timer either, so it sounds like a fun idea.

Yeah I reckon it would be cool to have a Newcomer/Rookie of the Year contest.

Good idea. The tricky thing will be determining the cut-off join date. An October joiner probably won't have much of a chance that year, so maybe should get a look in the next year.

I have to admit if that exist last year, i would've been their number #1 pick. :p

I reckon, maybe, up to the half-way mark or 3/4 of the season.

I suggest we organise a spelling contest.

The OP would be my favourite to run away with it.

Always wondered why there wasn't a contest like Newcomer of the year. Think there should be one :yeah:

Cut off really needs to be the new year though

Rookie of the year would be a fun contest to have, however...

Yep. This is why we gotta have the ACC right after WTF, not wait 2 weeks.
