Robredo has been injured, as those who follow tennis closely will know. If you want to compare eras, David Ferrer will be a better yardstick. His career has been roughly injury-free.

Robredo doesn't get the respect he deserves for his comeback this year. Seeing him winning challengers left and right or being runner-up, winning some matchs on the ATP level is actually amazing.

:yeah: People who would usually commend the effort of a difficult comeback from injury throw the rulebook out for Robredo sadly. I mean, I'm not a fan, but it's an impressive show of dedication and spirit to return like he has.

Some people likes to point out the negatives in any situation...

At 30, Robredo is working hard to come back from injury and really deserve some credit.
The score is quite odd though, Kei doesn't have big serves to runaway with the match but he must be doing something right.

This forum is amusing. Kei Nishikori is just as, if not even more boring than Tommy Robredo but because he's quite young and Asian he's seen as exciting.
