Since he is not going to college, might as well create a thread for him.

Name :HALEBIAN, Alexios
Age:18 (08 Jun 1994)
Birth place:Hollywood, USA
Plays:Left Handed (Double Handed Backhand)
Height: 6'2
Favorite Surface: Clay
Coach Name: Diego Moyono

ITF Profile: http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/...erid=100142294
ATP Profile: http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tennis/P...-Halebian.aspx

Alex is a very up and down player, not very consistent. His best surface is clay (most of his ATP points are from clay). Sometimes, I feel like he is hopeless on hardcourt. Alex is the reigning Kalamazoo Finalist (lost to Dennis Novikov in 4 sets, had a chance to go up 2 sets to love) and has received a USO qualifying wildcard (l. Brydan Klein 2-6, 7-6(5), 5-7)

He was part of the 2008 World Junior Tennis Championship Team (yes, the surface was clay).

Final: USA defeated France 3-0, TK Prostejov, Prostejov, Czech Republic
Alexios Halebian (USA) defeated Mathias Bourgue (FRA) 63 62
Christan Harrison (USA) defeated Lucas Pouille (FRA) 62 64
Tyler Gardiner/Christian Harrison (USA) defeated Mathias Bourgue/Laurent Lokoli (FRA) 62 63

With few exceptions, he is horrible in the junior circuit this year (didn't really play much though; spent most of his time getting killed in the pro circuit). His highest Junior ITF ranking is 24 and his best jr slam showing was last year's quarterfinal run at the USO. Thank goodness, no more juniors.

Re: Alex Halebian

Last I heard, he competed in the IW pre-qualifiers (lost in the semis to the eventual winner). I think he is now playing qualifying in Costa Mesa Futures. Going to be a rough first year for him; hopefully, he can figure the tour out soon.

I have always been curious. His family is from Armenia, but Alexios is a Greek name. Does he have any Greek ties?

Re: Alex Halebian

Just noticed that Alex has the same coach as Denis Kudla. Might be the reason why Kudla decided to move his training from Boca Raton FL to Carson CA so they can continue sharing coach.

Into first semifinal :cheerleader: should have gone abroad long time ago since he was struggling in the States.

Re: Alex Halebian

Might be a good time for him to put his twitter war with Harrison on hold and ask Christian for advice on David Rice :p
