Rafa won't play here.. he saied that he want to come back to the davis cup final (week later)
and its good decision for him because he doesn't like the surface and can't win this event against big hitters like Federer, Berdych and Tipsi

Nadal out, Del Potro is now certain to be allowed to play the WTF. He can still finish number 9 but not worse

It opens small gate to Marin Čilić for his premier WTF appearance, at least as an alternate. He would need some Top10 victims on his way. Ferrer would do just fine, if they both reach Valencia SF. It is time for Marin to show if he is able to defeat big guys.
