Lleyton Hewitt in a very chipper mood as he saunters off the practice courts with Todd Woodbridge.

Todd Woodbridge

Quote:

Woodbridge said Hewitt, 31, had revealed he has no immediate plans to retire.

"In actual fact, quite the opposite of that," he said.

"His schedule is set and he's talking next year.

"He's said people have asked that (retirement) question and he's laughed at them because he's not ready to do that.

"It's certainly not on his radar unless he's given it (retirement date) to himself with what he's planning.

"And I think that's all because his foot is feeling good."

Unfortunately, Lleyton and Guccione didn't receive a wildcard. According to the ITF they didn't have enough points..
