Post Deletion

Hi mods,

I've noticed that the last few days a lot of posts are being deleted, even though they are not upsetting or rude in any way. This policy really seems to have gotten out of control and is verging on imbecilic censorship. Some mods are a bit too happy pressing the 'delete' button.

I commented on it in a post in this thread, and sure enough that post was subsequently deleted as well.

Having been a moderator here myself, I know that the position can be hard work and generally is an ungrateful one. I greatly respect the work you are putting into making the forum a more organized place. But I don't quite see the need to amplify your workload by deleting posts that would have been deemed perfectly correct and inoffensive a couple of months ago.

sadly it isn't just last few days, it's happening all the time. even more since last mod's promotion. mods election are going in completely wrong direction IMO . mods should be someone who is long at mtf and who knows other members better and hole situation at this place and this isn't the case more and more often

Re: Post Deletion

When Murray beat Nalbandian, a British poster wrote "Great Britain 1-0 Argentina", and I replied "Surely if Murray had lost it would be "Argentina 1-0 Scotland". That post got deleted, I mean WTF.. :o
