lol that list is actually pretty decent, particularly given it's up against Barcelona.

Though most of the good clay courters aren't in Romania.

Not a great list, really, because most of those players are hardcourters. And they're playing here because they know their chances of winning many matches in Barcelona are slim.

Volandri, Fognini, Mayer, Seppi, Starace and Chardy especially need to take some serious advantage. I expect one of these five and maybe Benneteau and Simon to take the title here.

Lacko ... here ? Surely better choice would be challenger KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan (H)($125,000+H)that week.

I thought Kubot would play in Barcelona after he played three 500s tourney in row in last month. I don't mind anyway, this list isn't that dangerous, hopefully he can be seeded.

And this list is better than usual, this new timing is good for the tournament. :yeah:

Very good list :worship:, it was a good step to move tournament in April :p

You're kidding, right? I mean, the guy is playing Monte Carlo on the week before and Belgrade on the week after (not to mention he's commited to the whole clay season) and in the meantime would make a flight of 20 hours (with all the costs involved, not only monetary but also to his form) to play a challenger in the other side of the world in a different surface, to return the week after to the clay courts in Europe... That'd be wise... hehehe

I am more than surprised that he seems to play all clay-season, because I know how he hates clay. Maybe he wants to change something in him, and I appreciate that, because playing good on clay will make him better player.

If he would have success, my mistake. But if clay ruin his season like it was in 2008, ... :o

EDIT : Plus, when I wrote that comment, I didn´t know he was committed to play Belgrade and Monte Carlo.

Given the circumstances, this is a very good field. I'm impressed.

Wawrinka or Gasquet will be quite something for the tournament.

Sela here? He has a ton of Challenger points to defend from last year coming up. Why is he wasting his time on clay?
