Tennis Tipping Awards 2011 Grand Slam/ATP 1000 of the Year [Winner: US Open]
Which Grand Slam/ATP 1000 tournament was the best (most exciting, fun, well organized, etc.) in your opinion? The poll can only have 10 options, so we (Labamba, Gavnich77, keqtqiadv, Boarder35m and I) had to nominate nine tournaments for this award. If your pick is not included, please vote for the [Other] option and tell us why you believe this tournament should win. Note: Only TT players are allowed to vote in these polls and they will be open for 10 days Here are the nominees: Australian Open (Managers: Tytta!./keqtqiadv) Indian Wells (Manager: l_mac/Goldenoldie) Miami (Manager: (Nathaliia/ibreak4coffee) Rome (Managers: scoobs) Roland Garros (Manager: -Evita-/Marto) Wimbledon (Manager: Marto/Boarder35m) Cincinnati (Managers: ibreak4coffee) US Open (Manager: Boarder35m/Marto) Paris (Manager: scoobs) 10) Others: Here are a few players who we felt were close but unfortunately could not include in the poll: Monte-Carlo (Manager: l_mac) Madrid (Manager: -Evita-) Montreal (Manager: Boarder35m) Shanghai (Manager: scoobs) Previous Winners - Grand Slam/ATP 1000 Tournament of the Year 2006 - Toronto (bavaria100) 2007 - Roland Garros (yemok) 2008 - Roland Garros (FiBeR and tiptopdaisy) 2009 - Australian Open (Tytta!. & keqtqiadv) 2010 - Australian Open (-Evita- & l_mac) |

Re: Tennis Tipping Awards 2011 Grand Slam/ATP 1000 of the Year

no tennis match result was expected in that tournament, my co-manager traveled from america to europe in the meanwhile, i counted differences without a spreadsheet and then we played acro game with the surnames of players who eliminated us :yeah: |
Re: Tennis Tipping Awards 2011 Grand Slam/ATP 1000 of the Year

Re: Tennis Tipping Awards 2011 Grand Slam/ATP 1000 of the Year
I think US Open was very good organized so deserve the win here, but it will be stupid to vote for myself, so I vote for Miami.
Nathi without spreadsheet to manage 128 draw :worship: |
Re: Tennis Tipping Awards 2011 Grand Slam/ATP 1000 of the Year
i voted for myself :worship: first time in any contest since i'm on MTF :rolls:
but it's because i didn't play very often and that one was crazy event plus the co-manager deserves it |

Appreciate your kind words but we don't stand a chance in hell in winning this. So since we're not going to win I'm also voting Miami, but its not a vote for myself but rather for Nathaliia's ability to run a 128 draw tournament manually without the spreadsheet :worship: And for the fun banter too - and awards and everything else!!! |
Re: Tennis Tipping Awards 2011 Grand Slam/ATP 1000 of the Year

Sure, let's run one this year too. But are there any other masters free for 2 people (i think IW and Mugami are already taken...) and I don't think I could handle a slam... my broken computer doesn't even open that file  |
