Which Davis Cup opponent would be easier for Canada
For next year's first round, which of the following countries will Canada have the easiest time handling?
Imo, I think their best chance lies in taking on Russia at home in Canada, indoor carpet. Raonic can beat any of Russia's players if its on carpet indoors with his massive serve and Pospisil can probably handle any of them as well. not to mention if i'm not mistaken, I think Youzhny and Davydenko have retired from the Russian Davis Cup team. Our doubles team is way better than theirs as well. |

I already mentioned this in the C thread long before this was here but it's definatel Russia without a doubt. I think we'd be favorites against Russia, 50/50 with Croatia, and underdogs to the rest

Ugh, not good.
France in the first round and, if you guys manage to get past that, USA or Switzerland in the second. |

So France in the first round at home.
Next question is.. where should we play. Which city? Remember it's in February so it has to be indoors. |
